When they arrived, I eagerly put them on, and to my dismay discovered that they're very narrow.

but no matter what I do, they're just too narrow.

If you have anything approaching medium or wide feet, these shoes will probably be too narrow and too painful to wear.

In many other brands I wear a wide 9, sometimes 9.5 - These are actually quite comfortable in a 10 for me, and I'm glad I exchanged them.

Let me start by saying I have bought other (Prime eligible) Alpine Swiss shoes and they fit great, and in fact I'm wearing a pair right now.

I ordered a size 10 which is already .5 size larger than what I buy with name brands.

The Marco size 10's finally came and they literally, and I mean literally fit like they were a size 7; hurt my feet and everything.

I double-checked the size tags and everything and it most definitely was indicated to be a size 10.

I recommend ordering a size up, or passing on them.

but sent them back for a size 10, only available in the olive green color.

The interior of the shoe where the back of my heel rubs against the upper wore away very quickly (in a matter of 3-4 months) to the bare plastic that supports the shoe shape.

And 2. while not showing wear to the treads, the rubber on the soles have cracked slightly, which means the soles are not watertight anymore and my socks get wet when walking on any kind of wet ground.

Like an adult male trying to wear a kid's shoe.

I also noticed that the construction was poorly done and could see excess glue strands on the upper portion where it was glued to the sole.

The shoes come with thin inserts that have an extra pad under the heel, maybe 3 or 4mm thick, I prefer the fit without these pads.

I returned this pair of sneaks within an hour of receiving these, and as soon as my refund hits I am going to just pony up and buy a real pair of Sambas, which is what I really wanted in the first place.

The uppers are fairly durable, and as far as wear the soles seem durable too.

Overall, these seem to be ok. I have been wearing them for about 4 hours today - they just arrived today (which was a nice plus as they arrived so quickly.)

They are comfortable, properly sized and look very nice.

I was really hoping for the best possible quality as being timberland brand usually are ,and I choose this seller because they have there own company,but as far as if these are real Timberland's I'm not so sure ,they came way to big ,which I ordered a size 1 for my five year old whos in a size 13 in sneakers and there small so I went up to the 1 ,not even close ,so big and long that even with two straps to tighten wouldn't get them to stay put .second the quality which this isn't going to be the first time I ordered from this seller and with the timerland brand were they came used ,these sandals had soles that were actually glued on top and peeling off out of box, very disappointed  ,he was looking forward to wearing these! !

After trying other brands of sandals for our toddler and having them fall apart before the summer was even over, we decided to give these Timberlands a shot.

They fit as expected and the quality is excellent.

I measured his foot before ordering and following the size chart I went up a 1/2 size, and they fit perfectly.

I used the US sizing for my first order and they were a whole size too small.

Unfortunately the stitching at the bottom was not secure  so this pair has a small stitching hole at the bottom  - so that's a disappointing hassle and too bad they aren't stitched better as they are a fair price!

Some dance floors are not cleaned or depending the floor, these shoes will wear and tear quickly.

With these it's usually the big toe busting through the top

It is obvious to me that the sole of the toe box will need resoling within a month.

Although these shoes were really tight first, somehow I was able to put in an insole.

Because it is clear that the maintenance on the sole of the tow box is coming soon, my review is 4 instead of 5.

The last thing I want in a dance shoe is extra space: this is where sliding around in them can cause blistering and extra material at the toe can get in the way and trip me (believe me, I don't need help tripping!).

They do have a more sturdy pad on the ball of the foot than other jazz shoes which is the place I find that most other shoes fail first.

They are chunky, and I personally wouldn’t hike in them beyond a smooth gravel trail for that reason.

But I found that most Skechers hiking shoes were too narrow for my medium width.

After trying many hiking shoes, the only ones wide enough for me were these shoes. The laces and velcro do absolutely nothing to adjust the fit (I guess they are there for decoration?)

I took one star off for that; the shoe should be adjustable for width.

Hard to lace still because I have a extremely narrow foot and the leather is stiff.

--So it maybe true that if you have a wide foot these shoes may not be for you.

For anyone with foot or toe issues,  the sole is very stiff.

My preference would have been the other, less stiff ones.

Bad news, they are super stiff, no real tongue for shoe so you can’t get a snug fit.

I have been wanting decent hiking shoes for a while, as we got fairly often and I felt like tennis shoes weren’t always sturdy enough.

but ordered a 9 which is what I wear in Keen, Columbia, etc… Length worked well.

So if using for a job where you on your feet, I think a good buy, hiking not so much.

The only negative I would say is that the insole is paper thin foam and could be made better for impact absorption, and the outsole is paper thin and not very grippy or durable, so it would be good to replace those.

Good high tops that have good structure, durable outsoles, and good cushion are extremely rare and  hard to find.

The bottom of the shoe is the perfect size for wide and regular feet, where Nike dunks are extremely narrow and painful unless you have really skinny feet.

And since there is no Velcro or zipper under the bows like I had hoped there would be, they can be tricky to get on a squirming toddler.
