If you aren't sure about Hoka's just go for it, they are the first shoe I've worn that genuinely felt like it made walking easier and I think that's due to the comfort more than anything.

Great running shoes
This is my 3rd pair of Hoka's and they've become the only shows I wear for working out.

These are lighter and a little less cushion then my Bondi's so they're better for running than walking.

For me the fit has always been spot on, maybe a touch small

However,  after you walk around on them you'll likely notice the soles feel like they're very thin in width.

Imagine walking on a sole that feels skinnier than your foot.

Your foot will very easily want to roll off the edges of the sole.

I do not trust my foot to not roll off the edge of the sole.


The material used in making the sole is much too firm

We had to return for one size smaller
I bought them for my son to be in track.

Oh and for the return, you couldn't just exchange it, you had to do the stuff for a return and order the new one.

Not a good feeling and you'll fatigue your foot and be in a small amount of pain and discomfort.

My biggest bummer was one size was on sale when I got them and not the replacement size.

If you get your exact shoe size, just expect it will fit tight, and require break-in before the shoe feels right.

After wearing them for only 30-minutes, I immediately started noticing the fit getting a bit looser!

The air ride allows me to walk the same couple of miles a lot easier.

My favorite shoes so far honestly are trail runners.

So if you happen to randomly need to walk up a grassy hill,  or chase your dog wherever it decided to run off to because it got out your front door you can be sure a trail runner is gonna deliver with peak performance and your not gonna slip on almost any surface.


I like these runner very comfortable and light..we use these runners for my husband he had a foot removed from an accident..we needed some thing that would fit comfortable,not to heavyweight they fit perfectly in every way

These shoes when you put them on feel comfortable.

So this shoe I'm writing the review on,  will feel comfortable if you're not really having to walk in them.

Also, it was so nice to have air ride again, my last pair of Sketchers didn't have that, and walking even a couple of miles was painful with my old shoes.

These shoes feel great to walk in, plus I love the styling as well.

although I prefer round laces, the flat ones work ok. And lastly, if you care about traction, these sneakers have traction, they will grip really well.

My daughter is 12 and needed something for PE that would hold up to running outside or doing sports on the gym floor.

These are very comfortable and have a good lift to keep her feet from getting too wet in this weather.

10 year old grand daughter said they were comfortable and supported her feet.

The only thing is that they are very sticky on the bottom and EVERYTHING sticks to them at first till you break them in haha.

These shoes are a durable, easy way to walk around as close to being barefoot as possible.

This will be great for air ports and running errands.

These fit and can be walked in with or without socks.

Sole of sandal is heavier than expected.

The footbed on these sandals is lighter in weight than your average Z series, and the adjustment strap is lighter weight than the rest of the webbing, a dubious design decision.

My major concern was the straps collapsing and not having the easy on and off.

These don't work to well with socks as they cause socks to bunch up under the arch.

Adjust the straps by very small amounts: too tight and they'll squeeze themselves right off your foot with the third or fourth step.

but still substantial and they are quite “cushy”, not too firm but very easy to walk with.

As long as you don’t suddenly take off running, these should stay on your feet.

I am happy to report that these are not only extremely comfortable,

though — keep the straps loose and these are a great hands-free slide and plenty comfortable for walking around in.

Bare foot they are super comfortable and perfect for getting wet.

This allows your in-step to lift up against the straps when you walk rather than just push into them causing your foot to slip out.

This morning I tightened them a little and went for a 3 mile walk. Blissful.

In the end, I have walked miles in these things; done trail walks with roots, rocks and rubble, scrabbly inclines, and of course the obligatory stream crossing, all in comfort and ease.

Seriously, I futzed with the straps for all of 10 seconds and found the sweet spot.

Added is a plether eyelet strap disappearing into the sole in lieu of continuous webbing that made Chacos famous for durability.

The straps are smooth and soft - no rubbing my poor feet raw trying to break them in.

I found I needed zero adjustment after I first stepped in and futzed with the straps,

However, this style was not very fashionable looking in peraon and had too narrow a footbed.

Bunion feet are usually wide, so the narrowness of the feet bed was strange.

but it was just too narrow and snug for my bunion feet and the the style missed the mark as well.
