I must admit that I walk on a concrete floor 5 days a week and my feel do begin to hurt throughout the day.

The sole on these boots is also not anti-shock.

As expected, lots of people reporting premature failure of everything from separation at stitching, to the sole basically coming apart.

Added these to my travel gear
I have worn versions of the Ecco Track II "low" version for years and always enjoyed them.

Since I have been so pleased with my other Ecco products, I ordered these for an upcoming World Cruise where we expect to have more than a few excursions which might be safer with the additional ankle support that these offer.

(My wife thought that the Track 25s were too clunky, so she ordered the "ECCO Women's Soft 7 TRED Gore-TEX High Sneaker" which she now loves.

As indicated, the Track 25 High Hiking Boot fits exactly as expected.

but just for general winter wear they are really nice I think and I could also slop through the mud some in them but I have other more specific hike type boots for that.

I love the weight and feel of these boots.

Always wanted to try the more recent Track 25 model and this new boot is equally as comfortable

These are like a reference standard for comfort that I can compare my other boots to and see how they measure up and luckily I have a lot of nice footwear and I adjust them all with different insoles and for thick or thin sock and I get them all to a good level

I haven't worn the Track 6 that often so they are still in perfect condition and I'm not that hard on boots.

For now I'm happy to have a new boot that is like a special foot experience just to try on.

They are comfortable and they look great.

Comfortable first wearing
These fit right and comfortably the first time and had great traction on all surfaces.

I found almost what I need - comfortable shoes that I'm used to.

I've always found them to be comfortable, stylish, well made and worth the high price.

One moc toe and the other round toe, both impressively comfortable.

But all in all they are wonderful or I would not have been wearing them for this many years.

The leather appears to be “water buffalo”, just tends to wear better than cowhide.

The negatives I would say are: Very narrow, not for wide feet.

but goes narrow in front and I would not recommend it.

These boots are so cute and not like your typical clunky hiking boots.

To start off they have great ankle support!

They have great ankle support and a good grip on the bottom.

We did tons of hiking and they were super comfortable and didn't cause any blisters.

Ecco is always great
I'd been looking for some hiking boots with the support you need for backpacking - which comes down mostly to the stiffness of the soles -

While I haven't hiked in them yet, I have walked in them enough to know that they're not going to give me trouble, which is sort of important if you're three days from civilization.

That's what these are, and they're very comfortable right away.
