I ordered a woman’s size 8.5 and they do seem to run a bit wide in the mid foot/toe area.

She would have ordered a size smaller if she knew they came so large.

Easy to slip on and off as the shoes have a stretchy sock-like liner and elastic laces with mini plastic stoppers at the ends.

The laces are elastic with little stoppers on each end so you can tighten them as you need.

They are very light weight with good cushion for walking.

Outsole/midsole is a foam like material that provides some decent cushioning.

The soles are comfortable so they should be good for walking and normal wear.

The shoes arrive in just a plastic bag, notable since I've never gotten a pair of shoes that didn't come in a box.

My wife says they are much larger than expected.

The zipper is now soooooo difficult to get around the heal.

They can be a little difficult getting the zippers pull all the way closed on one foot or the other depending on what handed you are.

Keep in mind the laces are just stretchy - they don’t tie - they don’t come off there’s no Velcro so the shoe is slipped on

I do wish they had laces that tied so that you could adjust the tightness,

I have a narrow foot yet the toe box is barely big enough with thin socks.

If the toe box were wide enough for a regular foot, I'd have rated it 5 stars,

They do run at least a size small, so keep that in mind.

but ordering up another 1/2 size would have made the length too long for walking.

They have elastic laces, also, to make them more adjustable.

These boots have offered the stability to be confident in (still) my small careful steps on slippery winter surfaces.

They have a zipper on each side, which helps to make them easier to slip on and take off.

I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone.

Both of my Sorel boots are the best boots I have ever had.

But we literally could not get my 2 year old's feet into them (size 10).

The elastic on top doesn't have much give (which I can see being a good thing for a kid whose feet fit into them), so for a kid with high arches and baby fat, it was like stuffing a sausage into a casing.

Other reviews said these boots were a bit larger than size, so I bought 7 wide instead of my normal 7.5 or 8 wide.

but the only part of the boot that was wide was the heel.

The size ran a little large for me which isnt necessarily the company's fault

So for the left boot to be tighter than the right boot means these boots have to be significantly different in size.

The straps are elastic and provide zero tightness.

But the heel was so roomy that my right heel didn't even touch the boot.


The Milwaukee boots I bought are very comfortable , well built , with heavy duty zippers , I do believe these boots are the best I have ever bought !! !

but every other boot I've bought at that size fits.

I do like the way these boots feel even before break-in.

I also like how you can adjust the tightness across the instep and the upper boot with the belts.

They have updated the tread, made the shoe a bit lighter, added an elastic strap which makes my foot more stable and less sliding forward without having to do a runners not making an easier transition.
