From wearing them with regular athletic socks, rather than heavy ones on a cold day, I can say with confidence, (and disappointment), that they're way, WAY too small in the toe box.

but I bought runner shoes just because they are comfortable for fast walking and or doing exercises.

Love these shoes been running in Saucony for years!

Since wearing them to work (and switching out my running shoes), my pains have completely resolved and they have held up incredibly well for the past 6 months.

They are super comfortable and I am able to place my Powerstep high arch supports in place of their insoles as they are removable.

The shoe is responsive it doesn't feel dead I can feel the outsole is working a little.

Price wise they are probably 20 quid more expensive than what I would normally spen/expect for a good running show

As someone who would have lived and died by Asics , these Ghost 12 are a sturdy well fitting running shoe.

I've been buying ghosts for years (since i started exercising regularly about a decade ago with my first pair being i think the model 5 or 6).

Bought these for long distance work as reviews were decent.

And i found some that were discounted a decent amount and bought them.

I originally purchased the Brooks Ghost 11 on August of last year, after researching the top rated shoes for healthcare professionals.

I ordered the Ghost 12 as a replacement, since it was also rated well,

Good shoes I walk for exercise 4 to 5 miles a day.

I am a bigger guy with extreme metatarsal pain in my right foot which was repeatedly injured at my work (before Covid shutdown) by climbing 3 flights of stairs 20+ times a day and the amount of walking.

I did like the 12mm drop of the Ghost 12, it feels like the shoe is encouraging you to move forward I like it for walking and of course they are very comfy.

Trying to land in the mid-to-front part of my feet (like I have been running for years), was difficult and uncomfortable.

The soles of my feet don't feel swollen and painful, and I've significantly cut down on my use of IB Profin and Aleve to alleviate pain.

I still have small soreness issues after about six hours of working.

After 480 km the material of the heel cap is damaged (see photo 2 and 3).

Inside is plastic, which chafes the heel bone.

My other issue was extreme stabbing pain in my heels.

I 1st ordered a size 7m (the size I wear in Asics and NB).

I actually thought they'd sent me the wrong size,

but when Saucony changed to Iso I had to take half a size more.

I can honestly say that I have bought every single expensive Running shoe brand out there and NONE of them compare to these.

Now I do like them, they are comfortable, light weight, a good shoe for running, jogging, walking

The soles are nice and comfy, when walking.

To experiment, I ran a little, landing on my heels, and in that case the shoes were very comfortable.

When I was walking in the shoes outside (I was walking and running), the shoes were very comfortable.

I also own two pairs of Vionic, which are comfortable,

I can wear my thick compression socks and arch support socks easily and still be comfortable in these shoes.

but they are comfy and nice to run in, at no point did I think "I'm running on air" or some other cliche.

I owned a pair of Saucony Guide 8s which I absolutely loved for daily walking.

I'd read some reviews of these shoes and had high hopes, as I'd read they were good running shoes for walking.

At first, they were cushion-y underfoot and felt good to walk in around the house,

You really have to loosen or tighten each row of laces to fine tune the fit.

but you may have to experiment with the laces to get them to fit perfect for you.

I just finished up with a pair of Triumph ISO 2, which I had in 10.5 and they fit comfortably, so I ordered these in a 10.5 also.

Was "fitted" with these by a specialist running shop previously.

Saucony Echelon was tested on my feet in 2011 and recommended by a professional athletic shoe expert and I absolutely love their fit and design and they permit me to maintain walking and jogging into my 60’s.

They are comfortable and always fit my feet.

I would just run them under water or wipe them down - I didn't feel the need to throw them in the wash. Plus, the sole of the shoe has some arch support and is slightly flexible, which makes it easier for my daughter to run around.

With a little less than a month's occasional wear the Pediped label on the strap is peeling off, some of the stitching on the strap has already pulled out, and the shiny fabric is showing significant wear.
