However, walks during sporadic and light spring showers (i.e., a normal "drier" day in Seattle) revealed that these Saucony shoes do not have good traction on damp sidewalks/streets; in fact, they can be treacherously slippery on damp and wet hills and driveways.

These Saucony shoes are probably some of the most slippery shoes in the wet that  I have owned.

In terms of comfort when walking, it took about 15-20 miles of walking before the shoes were broken in, and now, my feet are comfy and the shoes are breathable and fairly lightweight.

At the beginning they were little bit tight for my toes.

Try to keep the uppers dry or they will break down rather quickly, especially around the front of the shoe where the toe kick meets the the upper.

I have wide feet, these are 6e, nice shoe for the money, I have to grab them when they have my size.

But I do insert in them shoe tree after 8 hrs of work so they became wide enough over a week so for me they no longer cause any issues.

I got the medium width ones, not the wide ones.

but is very narrow through the middle of the sole, making it very easy to roll your foot.

One boot is sometimes tighter than the other or one pair comes soft the other like sandpaper inside.

After a few hours of enjoying the surprise, put on a medium weight sock, with a satisfactory ca-thunk you're in.

This boot in it's wide sizing is a pleasant surprize to those of us with feet as wide as they are long.
