but definitely not when there's a lot of standing or walking required, since they are loose, I don't want blisters from the rubbing of the heel.

Another thing that I was disappointed about was that there was glue adhesive dried on various parts of the shoes.

It's like they were somewhat sloppily glued together and no one cleaned up the mess before it dried.

However, after wearing them around the house while I did some cleaning and laundry, they quickly loosened up.

They are still tight and now the heal is loose because of the increase in size.

but will need to stretch them and add padding because the shoes do not have much support and I'll be standing on my feet most of the day.

I have a similar pair of boots that cost about twice as much as these and have had them for about 4 years now.

My absolute favorite thing about the boots is having the zippers on both sides.

These boots have the zipper on both sides going down very far, making it extremely easy to get these on and off.

So I would still highly recommend these boots at the current price-point!

I've owned the shoes for maybe a month or two, and you can already see significant creasing and wear & tear on the straps.

The first day I wore these (which by the way they look fantastic out of the box) both pairs got gigantic scuffs .

The first day I wore these (which by the way they look fantastic out of the box) both pairs got gigantic scuffs on the front of them that I couldn't get off no matter what I did, I tried spit shining them, some water buffing, a legit full blown polish (with dry black kiwi shoe polish, buffing with a camel hair brush, and finally a shine rag, nothing worked.

didn't get the scuffs off which had grown larger at this point.

Keep in mind I've owned these for a week and ALREADY the leather has been gauged and is starting to peel.

Update: 2/4/17 - The sole started detaching a few months after my initial review and unfortunately I had to throw them away.

My only beef and this may be because I wear 13W, is that I had to buy a size bigger in order to fit my feet in.

but not enough that you can slip the shoe on/off without undoing the buckles.

I am a little concerned about the straps as they seem kinda fragile, so I guess I'll see how they hold up in a few months from now.

Save yourself a $60 purchase and take a pass on these shoes, and probably Stacey Adams shoes in general if the quality of their shoes is at all represented by these.

The design and fit of the shoe is great, and it's casual enough to be work to work with a shirt & tie, or sleek enough to go with a nice suit for a more formal occasion.
