Easy for elderly
I bought these for my 95 year old father in law who needed to go to a nursing home for rehab.

Shoes are comfy and they grip the laminated floor well
These shoes are roomy and comfortable in general, the Velcro closure is very easy to use, although sometimes perhaps a little too well as it can be difficult to loosen the shoes I’m recovering from a stroke and I have to wear a leg brace which is difficult to do with most shoes in general

but if a person doesn’t have bad arthritis or a disability of the hands then they should be able to enjoy these shoes no more cramped toes, as well as secure Velcro closures give your feet a treat and indulge your self with a nice little present

I thought that hook-and-loop shoes would be easier to fasten than the laces on my husband’s sneakers, so I tried New Balance 577.

The shoe opens almost completely and easy to put foot in then just close the flaps.

I was going to return these because the top of the opening was digging into the top of my foot.

They want to come off your foot and it's difficult to keep them on if walking with purpose.

They will create foot fatique and probably ache quite a bit if you wear them on a long day with a lot of walking.
