When they arrived, I eagerly put them on, and to my dismay discovered that they're very narrow.

but no matter what I do, they're just too narrow.

If you have anything approaching medium or wide feet, these shoes will probably be too narrow and too painful to wear.

In many other brands I wear a wide 9, sometimes 9.5 - These are actually quite comfortable in a 10 for me, and I'm glad I exchanged them.

Let me start by saying I have bought other (Prime eligible) Alpine Swiss shoes and they fit great, and in fact I'm wearing a pair right now.

I ordered a size 10 which is already .5 size larger than what I buy with name brands.

The Marco size 10's finally came and they literally, and I mean literally fit like they were a size 7; hurt my feet and everything.

I double-checked the size tags and everything and it most definitely was indicated to be a size 10.

I recommend ordering a size up, or passing on them.

but sent them back for a size 10, only available in the olive green color.

The interior of the shoe where the back of my heel rubs against the upper wore away very quickly (in a matter of 3-4 months) to the bare plastic that supports the shoe shape.

And 2. while not showing wear to the treads, the rubber on the soles have cracked slightly, which means the soles are not watertight anymore and my socks get wet when walking on any kind of wet ground.

Like an adult male trying to wear a kid's shoe.

I also noticed that the construction was poorly done and could see excess glue strands on the upper portion where it was glued to the sole.

The shoes come with thin inserts that have an extra pad under the heel, maybe 3 or 4mm thick, I prefer the fit without these pads.

I returned this pair of sneaks within an hour of receiving these, and as soon as my refund hits I am going to just pony up and buy a real pair of Sambas, which is what I really wanted in the first place.

I like the materials and look, the olive panels are a shinier texture than can be seen in the photos, the black panels are suede.

The black parts are a suede like material and the manufacturing seems be on par.

The uppers are fairly durable, and as far as wear the soles seem durable too.

The shoes look pretty good, and I would consider buying another pair (the price is right), possibly a different color, if they were a bit more durable.

I don't have any complaints about the shoes outside the fact that their entire scale seems off, as if it all sizes were shifted half a size in one direction or the other.

I originally order my normal size and the first was too small, then I returned it, was sent one another one, a size up this time, and that one was too big.
