Unfortunately, the small amount of 'stretch' in these boots was not enough for me.

I am quite disappointed that these did not have a similar fit. It appears that the over the knee boots with the drawstring back ties at the very top of the boot are stretchy, very accommodating wide calf over the knee boots, while the over the knee boots with criss-cross laces at the back of the boot tops are less stretchy and fit slightly wide calves.)

These Chestnut faux suede boots with criss-cross laces should work very well for those with athletic calves or calves that are slightly larger than regular.

I can never find tall boots for my thick legs, so I was thrilled when I tried these on and they fit so incredibly well!

but these fit well and the style allows folding over the top so height isn't an issue.

I have fairly large calves and these actually fit and stretch without squeezing them, and stay up over the knee.

(I purchased another pair of "Wide Calf Stretchy Over the Knee" boots with a flat heel from this same brand and they fit my legs absolutely beautifully.

However, I bought a pair of these boots (in another color with back ties rather than the criss-cross ties), and they fit my legs and my very wide calves beautifully.

My Organmasters are size 11.5, and I've always found them to be slightly too tight,

However the fit and size are all over the place!

In general they run about 1/2 size small.

So, not giving up, I sent those back and ordered 4 more pair, 2 different sizes in 2 different widths with prime wardrobe including the exact same size I just sent back.

Bought these shoes because the shoes offered at the place we are taking our dance classes are more than twice the price of these.

However, it took 3 separate orders to get the right sizes.

So I returned those for a 13 wide, thinking that would give me enough width with the slightly longer size.

But my heel was sliding a lot due to the fact they were to long, so after going through 2 different sized shoes, I bought 2 more pairs: a 12.5 wide (again, wondering if I had just been to picky the first time, and had read a few reviews about inconsistent sizes) and a 13 M. Just tried on both.

Long story short, use your Amazon Prime Wardrobe when buying these shoes, as there seems to be no consistency in sizes.

kind of makes you wonder a bit why 2 pairs that are the "same size," and one is to small while the other is perfect.


Product was way to small and I had ordered the same size as the last pair I had.

They are a very small looking shoe on the outside, so if I had it to do over again, I would go ahead and get a full size larger.

but fairly rigid sole, with a narrow overall profile (you don't want the soles extending out to the sides) and a solid, built-up heel.

but the right, for some reason had a defect in the heel that really hurt as I moved around.

but not wide enough, and the inside of the shoe even said it was 12.5 wide.

but still feels a bit to long, and is nowhere near as tight as the first 12.5 Wide was.

My street shoe size is 8, this shoe is wide and fits perfectly

The sole itself is suede, which is perfect as it slides when needed

The shoes are very well made, the uppers are soft/thin leather, the soul has nice foam padding (inside the shoe), the bottom of the soul has suede for just the right amount of friction on the dance floor.

They are more comfortable than the too-small size (obviously) and work just as well.

but the leather is very soft, and it became comfortable very quickly.

The first pair I ordered, I went the half size bigger and when I got them, the left felt snug and nice

but initially they were very comfortable.

Like a nice fitting glove for your hands.

The 13 M seemed to fit better than to original 13 Wide (length wise).

I can pinch out about an inch of leather from the the back.

Unflattering Length
I love the suede and quality of the boot.

Given the lovely thickness of this distressed suede (rather than fitting like a glove à la Stuart Weitzman), the boots should really fall below the knee.

People are divided on the sizing in these reviews; I will say that I’m a size ten and the ten fit me fine…but unfortunately there was only one of those.

The boot itself runs very small I’m usually a 6 in W sometimes 5 and can fit into 4 in kids.

ORDERED 3 PAIRS IN 3 DIFFERENT COLORS: ORIGINAL REVIEW FOR BLACK PAIR: I've noticed that less expensive shoes usually run smaller than more expensive brands.

They were a little wider than the brown shoes,

but still more narrow than the black shoes I received the day before.

I find, based on ordering 6W (I normally wear 6M) in 3 different colors that all 6Ws are too narrow and 6W is inconsistent in all 3 colors.

The navy is more narrow than the black, and the brown is more like a 5.5 size and narrower than both the black and the navy.

Disappointed in small width, coloring and inconsistent sizing.

Day two and my little toes are starting to feel a twinge of pain.

I've been trying to break in the black ones for two days now, and my little toes feel really cramped and sore.

The navy and the brown 6W's are being returned ASAP.

I even tried skipping several days between wears and every time I put them on the old soreness returned immediately.

They were not packed in original brand shoe box and they were not stuffed with same "brand new shoes" wooden stick with toes filled with tissue.

They looked like they had been a display shoe and the original LifeStride branded shoe box the other two pairs of shoes came is was missing.

Disappointed that Navy shoes were not really new due to not coming with new shoe stuffing and not arriving in LifeStride shoe box like other 2 pairs arrived in.

She wears a narrow normally, medium fit worked!

The bottoms did not look worn and there were no creases in the faux leather to indicate they had been worn.

I love this shoe and it is so comfortable.
