I usually wear a size 3-4 in shoes, so I am usually always stuck by really cheap and crappy flip flops from Old Navy.

L.B. Evans Men's Duke Scuff

I ordered two sizes above my size and the shoe is too small and I can't close it.

They do run small
I've been wearing L. B. Evans moccasin-style slippers & drivers around the house for at least 20 years.

They arrived today, and I can confirm that they do still run small.

Like most slippers, it's the sole that wears out.

Sticky inner sole
My feet stick to the material used to line the inside of shoe so the are not easy to remove.

But the inner soles do not have the smooth leather finish that the heels and outer shoe does.

The reviewer who complained that the leather tears at the seam is probably wearing his usual size.

That's my fault that I didn't order true to size.

While looking through the size/color options, I found a pair that are a full size larger (12M) than I would normally order and that were about 60% off the regular price (discontinued color).

To return, or not to return, that is the question!

Too make a long story short, I'm debating whether or not I should return the boots, or simply keep them and suck it up (pun intended given a foreboding vision of a boot left behind in the mud-Splat! ).


Thin, smelly ass boots, no steel insole, steel toe, would not wear on a jobsite.

And it's usually cause the tread has worn down or cracking at the ball of feet which of course makes them no longer waterproof.

Considering whether or not a size 9 would resolve the issue, the "vamp" is already a little tight around my wide feet (a size 9 boots would only be tighter), and the toe would probably lack the necessary space to afford wearing thick socks during cold weather.

For this purchase, I settled on Men's size 10 and, as Murphy would have it, size 10 proved to be too large.

They became my main winter boots (with heavy wool socks), my main barn boots for the coop (though chickens love to peck at my leg through the pull up hole :'D), and just many quick outdoor tasks that need more than flip flops.


Work well, great for summer, I liked mine so I bought my dad a pair.

Have been using these daily for several months now and still water tight and no tears.

From the use I've gotten out of them they are extremely durable and still look new.

The boots are extremely comfy and I love the holes to help pull them on.
