I have had to insert the memory foam cushion insole under the vionic “support” insole and then the green Spenco cushion on top to make these shoes less painful.

None of the vionic shoes (that I have) have any cushion on the top of the shoe so now I am experiencing extreme pain at the top of the foot as well.

I really don't do well with flat soles like these

I think the shoe is cute and that is why I rated it a two.

They have the cute, trendy-yet-classic look of a European brand like Superga

Break them in before getting them wet or the strap might rub uncomfortably.

I also think the natural/white toe strap is going to start looking gross after some use.

Unfortunately, the strap was so tight that I ended up sending them back and ordering a size Large.

Within 1 year mine look about as worn out as the ones I replaced them with (which were my very first Amazon purchase in 2011!).

The sizes now run small so if you used to buy 8-9.5 you will need to order one size larger.

That being said, the most recent pair I just bought is not as large as they used to be (my newest xxl is almost an inch shorter than the originals; I would definitely not suggest the xxl for someone 13.5,

I have had probably 30 pairs of Rainbow flip flops.

This is the first summer that I haven't had to deal with heel pain!!

They just wear very fast I have only had them 2 months and the lining is starting to lift on them..

After reading the reviews, I originally ordered a half size smaller than I normally wear which were still way too big.

The best thing about them is how light they are, some backless shoes seem to heavy and flop around, these don’t do that at all, can’t say enough about them.

Doing it this way allows me to wear these all week without any pain and my heels get a break.

Well good news, they definitely give your heels a break and they're v cute.
