The memory foam in these feel soft and snug, and the style is very masculine.

The foam bottoms keep you floating all day and they don't tend to come off when you're walking normally.

I have been wearing the regular Reef Smoothy sandals for years, and been a huge fan.

These things are slick, and walking on hardwood floors requires focus and concentration not to fall over, I would defiantly not recommend these for those who are unsteady on their feet or for whom a slip and fall could be catastrophic.

However low star count due to the fact that the bottom of them are so slick.

although they are cushioned, they are heavier than his usual Reefs and he’s sliding around a little.

Excellent Staple - Quality construction
This is the standard no-frills Reef flipflop that has been in the line for 20 years.

I have noticed over time the grip gets better, especially if you make a point of scuffing the bottoms, much like leather soled dress shoes.

When walking iron gravel I feel each sharp stone.

Sure, they are more non-slip than a cheap pair of flip flops,

but I could also wear them as a casual shoes or dress shoes they’re very comfortable and my feet if you’re looking very very nice quality pair of shoes these  must have I love them so much that I’m actually going to buy another pair in a different color highly recommended

I suspect i will end up going with a different brand more true to size.

THese 10.5 shoes are just a hair shorter than my regular size 11s i wear daily.

Reading these reviews, a theme seems to be that they are long and narrow.

As to the question of their value I must say that I do not look forward to putting them on again having worn them for a few hours.

If you are thinking about wearing them outside I suggest you take your $85.00 and flush it down the toilet.

The all-leather-and-nub sole HAS worn down - the only nubs left are at the arch of my foot, and I got a hole in the toe of one shoe that's not noticeable at all.

Unfortunately, I found that in even a month of wear, the nubs in the crucial areas are mostly gone, and the leather underneath is showing wear.

The closer I look at the leather the more convinced I am of its true nature: garbage that should be taking up space in some Dominican Republican landfill.

The marketing pictures are fake, they are a cherry picked sample that do not represent the quality I received.

The shoe fits snugly, which I enjoy - previous moccasins or boat shoes tended to flop on my foot more like full-cover flip flops than a full shoe, so this is great.

I'd say the selling point after this time is that the leather is very very supple and still strong and looking good (I'm told I'm wearing dress shoes sometimes), and the sole,

I'm still wearing these shoes, surprisingly, and they lasted a good bit longer and with harder wear than I expected after 3 months - I figured that if they were going to go, I might as well go for broke, and they're still very comfortable and reliable.

But it still feels good, for those guys looking for a comfortable shoe.

The leather insert is comfortable and has a noticeable cushion to it I'm not used to.

The shoe fits very, very snug on the sides as well as the top.


Very pleased with all aspects: materials, finish, colour, function, and they fit better than expected.

The 'lots of little nubs' construction gave me a real flexibility, let me feel the ground in ways that my foot normally associates with barefoot, and still gave me traction when I needed it.
