Why would Asics put really thin laces on a nice shoe like this?

I'll probably have to switch the laces for the ones I had on my old Gel Game 6 shoes.

Size Runs Narrow
I tried different sizes and iterations of the Asics Gel-Resolution 8-9 and could not get a fit that was wide enough without being too long.

but it has a narrow toe box so if you have wide feet, size up.

I also noticed earlier this year that my wonderful Asics Gel Game 6 shoes have developed a hole near my pinky toe on one of them.

compared to my old Asics Gel Game 6 shoes, these Asics Gel Resolution 8 shoes are very snug.

Having done that, these shoes are great for those who suffer from foot pain after a set or two.

Finally, feel like I have some bounce in my step, and can play longer without the foot aches.

Gel resolution 8 is well regarded as one of the top tiers tennis shoes.

Stable and comfortable, and takes shocks away from the knees, as expected of ASICS Gel Resolutions.

They have a cool classic look, provide a lot of stability on the court, they are quite lightweight, and are a little bit more snug fit/with a narrower toe box compared to other shoes.

I just wear them and they are really comfortable.

but after wearing them for about 30 minutes, they loosened up nicely and became very comfy, to the point where I didn't feel the snugness anymore, and was just focusing on tennis.


As a beginner tennis player these shoes delivered the performance of quick lateral change support at the sides, near the front end of my feet while being surprisingly, extremely comfortable for being brand new shoes.

The shoe itself is actually uncomfortable too and they come with these inserts that I honestly laughed at bc they are hard and extremely thin

These shoes are difficult for me to wear for very long because they don't seem to be made very well.

Overall, they are just odd, and I feel odd wearing them.

but when I put them in the shoe to try with them, they actually made the shoe a little more comfortable which came as a surprise bc just looking at them made my feet hurt!

I think I was expecting a wider shoe, the gift recipient can't wear them and I'm stuck with a pair of shoes I don't need 😫 They run narrow and not xxwide as described.

I bought these extra wide for foot problems I'm having with bunions and ball of foot pain and they accommodate my feet well.

Why buy super expensive tennis shoes when these are available!

I do have to double-knot the laces to keep them tied.

I was excited to receive these because my feet hurt and it was actually very difficult to find a pair of shoes that had a reinforced toe area.
