The reviews often said that the size runs small, so I order a half size larger than usual. At first, when I put them on, they felt very tight and I thought, "uh oh."

However, that is not an issue, it's my fault, and I'd rather have them be a bit too big than a bit too small.

The fit is snug, maybe a little too snug as I've got a couple blisters from just an hour's wearing.

The sole is a single hard plastic molded plate and I am a bit concerned it might not be very flexible for sprinting,

However, after walking around in them for just a few minutes, they seemed to conform to the shape of my foot.

but these cleats seemed to mold themselves to the shape of my feet.

If they didn't have cleats, I would walk around in them all day, just because they are that comfortable.

I tried on a few pairs of Danner work boots in local shops, and they all seemed to run a bit wide and long for their stated size.

It isn't wide enough up at the top of the boot.

The 9 was too short, a wider width did not matter.

but they let me down didn’t even last a month worn inside heel area and over toes why are these so bad ?its to bad I wanted to wear these for a long time too bad

I would say if you want something that is going to be worn day in and day out go for the workman not these.

It took me about a week of daily wear to get them broken in

I had to throw out the shoe inserts and buy new ones to make them more comfortable which adds another $20 to the price tag!

Try it on in a store, if it doesn't feel great walking around for 15 minutes or so then DON'T BUY IT.

If you buy these for fashion, be aware they are very stiff and somewhat clunky, even after the break-in period.

Once my foot is in the boot they are quite happy.

Once they are broken in, you will never need another pair of boots.

If you want American made tough boots, these are it.

I think it gives the boots some character.

I can fit thick wool socks into the 9.5 without a problem.

They're shoddily built in every way, and if this is how it is, I guess I won't be buying them anymore.

I ordered these in 7.5 and feel that the 8 would be a better fit.

I was a bit perturbed that they don't come in half sizes.

If you have pretty standard width and shape of foot, I think these are well worth a try.

They do seem to keep my feet from getting so hot during extended walks and workouts.

but I have not noticed any problem when walking, biking, or running.

And when I tried the shoes on, there were quite comfortable.

SIZING: I usually buy UK size 10s for my walking shoes and tried these shoes on in size 10 with some walking socks and found them to be just a little too short.

Having worn them for a month I will definitely buy 1 size up if I buy again.

First of all you'll be scratching your head at what size do you get because it's not the size you are that you need!

Now I can tell you straight out of the box half a size up with a very thin sock felt absolutely bang on for me.

The only time on my first walk that they felt a tiny bit small was walking down very steep declines where all your weight is pushed to the front of the shoe and so my big toe was right up to the front.

I did have a couple of pairs where after the soles had worn the upper started to separate from the sole which was the final decision making point to change to a new pair.

I find that I can walk all day long in Merrell shoes I think that the footbed shape that Merrell use suits my foot shape.


OVERALL: I have used these walking shoes for a few weeks before writing this review which I hope you will find useful and overall I am very happy with them.

I have used these Moab 3’s for walking on pavements and fields in dry and rainy conditions and they have so-far performed really well and kept my feet dry.

LIFE: These Moab3 shoes have a different Vibram sole to the Moab 2s and perhaps because they are new they seem to be a little stiffer which I think is a good thing for a walking shoe.

I'm glad I did as they fit great and are very comfortable.

but being so comfortable I am reluctant to change until something else starts to fail.

but they are excellent value and extremely comfortable.

When put on you literally feel taller as I imagine this comes from the very comfortable vibram sole.


I have bought my 3rd pair as the fit so well and the sole lasts longer than some other brands.

No pain, almost a bounce feeling and complete comfort.

I actually was fitted by an athletic shoe place and these were my best match for my foot shape.

They felt good to walk around and had lots of cushion.

People are not lying when they say these shoes are so comfortable.

I have cloud monsters that are slightly more comfortable.

I’m on my feet for 12 hours on concrete floors and these are still comfortable.

I went up half size because I have wide feet and fits perfectly.

These come a size small so order about .5 up

Vivobarefoot, if you don't have the stock, which is evident by the lack of shoe sizes available for EVERY STYLE (especially size 12) do not advertise that you do and allow me the consumer (and potential vivobarefoot fan boy) to place the order and then be let down when you fail to me your delivery service level objective.

The insoles don't even lay flat in the shoe
The insoles bend up in the middle and don't even fit the shoe.

but the shoe it self, is shaped like a V and was tight enough with thin athletic socks on to force a return.

Overall a 10/10 shoe, high quality and extremely comfortable with a toe box wide enough to conform to the natural shape of the foot.
