Even now that the rest of the boot is pretty well broken-in, the soles still feel uncomfortable if I'm doing a lot of walking or standing.

I also find that the boot rubs uncomfortably against the inner side of my left foot, often leaving that spot sore,

My main complaint about these boots is that the soles just aren't comfortable.

but I think I'm going to have to get some even more cushiony gel insoles in order to really make these boots comfortable.

I was worried the calves might be tight as the boots are listed as having 14" calves and when I measured my calves they were 14" at the widest point,

The leather is beautiful and thick (although not as heavy as the Frye Engineers).

Came in Frye box and in perfect condition, so there's no reason to worry about these not being legit.

The Harness is such a classic Frye style that you really can't go wrong.

it's still much cheaper than the US sticker price, which can be hard to find when ordering Frye Boots while abroad!

I also bought the weatherproof dressing as I am in Vancouver and want to guard against rain damage and applied that without any issue.

Overall, I'd say, if you're looking for a pair of boots that are durable and will be able to last through even Canadian winters, these are probably a good choice.

They seem to be well made and the leather is gorgeous.

The leather is lovely and soft, the footbed is cushioned and supportive.

Purchased to wear as a passenger on a motorcycle and for fashion/streetwear, I anticipate getting a lot of compliments!

Found these for $140, which is the lowest I've seen Fryes in my size and bought them right away.

I ordered my usual size, 8.5, and had no problems putting them on or taking them off.

but ordered a size 8 because so many people reported that this boot runs large, and I'm glad I did - the fit feels pretty close to perfect.

I could not be happier with this purchase - especially on such a great sale.
