Good sandals at a good price
These sandals are a big improvement over the last pair of Birkenstock style cork soled slip on sandals I had.

But if you want a comfortable sandal for the pool and shower room, these work just fine.

Nonetheless the black material underneath is perfectly serviceable and really quite comfortable.

MUK LUKS Men's Paul Suede Moccasin Slipper

Unfortunately, my husband pulled on the ties thinking it would tighten them, and they broke on the first use.

First, they come undone in the normal course of (my) wearing - usually within a day, and then it is possible to trip on them by stepping on the lace that has come loose.

Tying the laces in a double knot, which worked with the replaced slippers, doesn't work well with these; the double knot keeps working loose.

Also, the laces aren't all that strong; I broke one of them trying to tie the knot tighter the first day I wore them.

Too narrow, which is unusual for skechers
I always buy skechers because they are affordable, stylish, and usually run wider than other brands.

They are very narrow and tight and I wish I could return them

Just wish they were 1/2" wider so they wouldn't put my feet to sleep after wearing then for an hour or so.
