I would suggest any reviewers indicating the shoe fits to exact size have a wide foot or don't notice immediately because of the sock design of the shoe.

My heel lifts because my feet are narrow.

What I do note and haven't seen mentioned in other reviews is that they are a more firmer footbed/sole (note that I have taken the inner sole out for more width) which could be why they feel sturdier and still allow you to feel the ground under your feet as opposed to a soft spongee type sole that masks the sensation.

I have to wear wides in Adidas and Nike golf shoes, these are wide enough or soft enough that they feel fine in a medium.

I took it out just to see what that was like and it does provide a little extra width.

Ecco has many golf shoes on the market at the moment and it was tough to select one.

I have a great deal more traction on short wet grass than my previous Ecco biom and adidas hybrid golf shoes every had.

Comfortable Felt so comfortable from the first time.

As everyone keeps mentioning, they truely are remarkably comfortable, so much so that I don't want to take them off and want to walk in them all day on and off the course.

These are my first pair of Ecco shoes and I'm that impressed that I am looking to get an everyday sneaker with the BIOM tech as they are just super comfy.

I used to be a golf professional and I tried to remember the most comfortable pair of shoes I ever wore.

but Ecco has a reputation for being really comfortable.

but loosened up in short order to be really comfortable.

Others have noted they are already broken in and very comfortable.

The main concern was whether that would effect my golf swing as I did have issues in the past with a pair of spiked shoes that messed up my swing.

I had resorted to only playing in a pair of Under Armour cross trainers, which are amazing for golf btw, just to be able to walk without my feet screaming at me in a high, loud, whiney voice.

UPDATE: I took my new shoes to Bandon Dunes in Oregon for a week of golf.

Second update: After a couple of more rounds of golf and playing in freezing temperatures.

On sizing, consider ordering two pairs to find the right fit.

I am a size 9, regular width and did the suggested size measurement, so I ordered a 9/9.5, as prior reviews indicated they fit true to size??

I can say the shoe does feel like it fits ok, because of the meshed sock design and has not caused any problems after walking about 5 rounds.

If the fit isn't right, they make my day hell.

but they fit my feet so well that it may not be an issue.

I've taken up too much of your time already so to summarize, I got these, they fit great, are quality shoes and I'm keeping them.
