Also because my feet  was not happy and the sole was inflexible, it felt that in slippery condition I shall lose balance more easily in this boots.

When it comes to how it fits, I must say, on Amazon's page the size selection which has "W" sizes is misleading.

I ordered size 9W and received  9, and it feels tight.

I bought the size 10 Wide because this boot runs narrow - I found the rubber sole was still the same size as the standard boot, so my foot felt unsupported on the inside above the arch ( I have flat feet ) I tried another set of insoles and they helped quite a bit.

The soles are tearing away from the boot already.

If the sole had not started to deteriorate I would give them a 5 star rating

Maybe they need just a bit of glue to repair them,

I say that because the leather is soft and will nick with micro tears relatively easily.

If it gets wet, which can happen if your feet sweat from working and weather, it starts to disintegrate.

Bean boots where the treated leathers thin outer layer eventually scratches and fades off and there's nothing you can do to correct this.

With this being said, I have worn these boots for less than a month and the sole is already separated from the toe.

but I had a problem with the outsole (it starts to fall apart in the front after just 5 or 6 time of using them).

They just need to improve the method of adhering the boot to the sole.

However the footbed under the sole insert appears to be some kind of cardboard, not fabric.

I used them only for street walking in cold days, not snow or rain, so I am not sure if the waterproof protection is still working after this issue.

but are not overly hard and I found them more grippy then some of my firmer vibram soled hiking boots.

But more grippy still  than my Timberlands which are similarly soft rubber.

These boots are great in many ways, they are very comfortable since first use, warm, look nice

I own too many boots - these are my favorite.

These are quality all-around boots, much like Thursday Boot Company - quality leather, good soles, goodyear welt - except they come standard with Thinsulate insulation and have an inner waterpoof liner.

And even with the liner and being treated with mink oil, I still found my boots breathable - this is very important and not always the case with all boots.

I like this, and that you can choose to darken these boots somewhat with your waterproofer or oil of choice,

These are, categorically, a lifestyle boot, and a great one at that.

Great boot, poor sole quality
To start, I have to say, these are the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever owned.

That said, the softness makes it a very comfortable subtle boot right out of the box, for me.

I have "standard" feet that fit well in most major boot brands with few rub issues and these are really snug and flexible compared to my outdoors hunting and work centric boots which took time to break in.

I tried these on and they felt very comfortable

The Magog didn't have that and were comfortable right away.

It's November and my feet have stayed warm and dry (and blister-free).

Requires break-in time, very comfortable after that.

These are tough yet comfortable enough to use for work, they fit and perform well enough and have good soles for hiking, and they are warm and waterproof and have good grip for winter in the city while still looking sharp.

I just got back from Antarctica, where I wore these boots in everything from great to harsh and cold weather.

Negatives: - Only the bottom 40% — the part up to the top of the foot — is waterproof.

but if you stand in water higher than the top of the foot, you will get your feet somewhat wet.

Only issue is that when the liners do get wet, they tend to stay more depressed in the soles.

Whatever the materiel inside is, it forms around the foot; I am guessing it is something like a Tempurpedic foam bed, and initially it felt like it was going to be too tight,

Also, a single thread holding on the top leather part on the left boot of my pair has frayed and sticks straight out.

The soles are grippy, and I have yet to slip in these, even on black ice. '

The Baffin boots come up plenty high to block wind and snow from getting into the boot or up my pants leg.

If you're looking for the warmest pair of boots you'll ever own, these are definitely the right boots for you!

but was pleased to find these Boots breath pretty well.The lower strap keeps the heel down and the pull up Gaiters were easy to deplore, and roll back.

Incredibly warm, even with a clammy foot.

These are very comfortable, and they closely wrap your feet with the squishy insulation.

The strap around the ankle prevents them from slipping up and down your legs while walking, preventing rubbing (and painful removal of leg hairs).

Positives: - Extremely comfortable - Easy to put on and take off.

Comfy, stay on the feet, and no leaks in snow.

Fortunately the boots are so warm that this didn't bother me much and didn't impede any activities.

I recently received these boots and, so far, they seem much nicer, more comfortable, and potentially warmer than my old Sorrels.

I like the feel, the fit, and the warmth.

So I ordered size 12 and the fit was perfect!

I wear 10.5 - 11 men's footwear and found the size 11 of this boot fit like a glove, and a VERY comfortable and supportive glove.

but after a minute or so it gave way just enough to make a PERFECT fit (much, much nicer than my last two pairs of Sorrels).

On top of the really nice fit, I found these boots to be really easy to tighten, again, much easier than my old Sorrels with all the laces I had to loose to get my feet in, then work on a lot to tighten - then reverse the process to get out of.

4/5 star reasoning: pretty uncomfortable if you're not wearing long socks with these!

They are only good for long continuous rainfall, if you have to only wear them for less then an hour, or and if you have to deal with high puddles and uneven terrain, which I did.

They do slip a little on the heel when I walk, I probably could have gone a half size down

but they are such a pain to get off and on and your feet get sweaty.

Fit is true and very comfortable (sz 11 womens, always a question!).

but run a little small
First off, I usually wear a size 9.5, but go up to a 10 when getting boots to help accommodate winter socks, etc.

The size doesn't take the fluffy lining into account, and they are a bit tight.

I ordered a 9.5 and I can tell that they are no bigger than a size 9 so anyone ordering these boots should be fare warned to order at least 1/2 to 1 size larger than normal.

I give these shoes a 9/10 for one reason: the laces aren't long enough.

Waterproof, toasty-warm, and grippy soles make them ideal for winter or wet weather.

These are really comfy and I look forward to the, somewhat, cooler weather we have in Florida.

I am sure they will be PLENTY warm enough for that.

but I will say that with temps in the 40's they're quite comfortable and warm.

I've used these boots for some serious work in the mud, gone for 1/2 hour walks with the dog, and just generally worn them in my daily business, and I found them to be very comfortable at all times.

Your feet will get warm if wearing them in warmer temps, so they're probably best used at temps in the 50's and below.

They do feel quite comfortable though and they are not too heavy like some of the other steel toe boots I have had

I’ve had these boots for a year so I wanted to wait to write a review.

They are comfortable, soft and not too hot to your feet.

but they still fit great, was comfortable, and most importantly water didn't get in (I hope it stays that way).

They are warm and cozy and keep my feet dry and toast even when it’s 20 degrees!

I’ve walked everyday since purchasing in all elements and I must say these were a great purchase.

Great Winter Boots
It’s just the end of August, so I hope I won’t need these to use these  boots for a long time.

I like these boots and I think they fit pretty well.

This design is the easiest boots to get on and off, I think it will be my go to from now on.

The ease of getting them on and off are the key feature that make these better than others I've had, maybe I'm getting to old to fight with my boots just to go shovel snow.

These boots totally live up to that proud name.

These are comfortable for me and so far seem well made.

The fleece lining is insulated with 200g 3M thermal insulation to keep you warm and dry and lining provides extra cushioning.

It leaves plenty of room for warm winter socks.

Fit seems fine, Havdn’t had them long enough to comment on durability.

I wish the laces started lower down the shaft of the boot, I find my heel lifts a little bit

The first time I put them on I pulled the string and tore one the eyelids for the top pull string.

I didn't understand that they have a built in gator function, because the upper portion of the boot folds out and makes the boot about 6 inches taller with it's own drawstring.

Update: The recent snow at the beginning of March 3rd here in Ontario, I found out that above the polyurethane rubber, this boot will leak if you have water higher than the main seam that attaches the upper to the rubber.

If you require being in a wet environment, I cannot recommend this boot.

It is too bad there is not a wide or size 15.

Although rather large, they are relatively light weight for a winter boot.

I tend to sit idle for awhile while plowing or loading trucks and such so I put "hot feet" on and I stay comfortable all day!

The 14's fit me snugly, which they are an open cell foam insulation and therefore, contact with foot is paramount to warmth.

Used a couple of times for ice fishing and so far they’ve kept my feet warm and dry.
