My 5year old wears a size 12little kid and i had originally purchased the size 13/13.5 to have a little wiggle room and they were HUGE.

I re-ordered the next available size down 11/12 and they are still a size to big!

however in my case my 5year old with a size 12little kid fit finds that even the 11/12 are still to big.

My son is running out of them and they flip off his foot if he kicks.. lol, i’m at the point where i’m just keeping them because it’s now been a pain in returns and waiting fir the new orders to arrive.

They are warm enough to keep his feet toasty on our hardwood floors and tile, the soles are tough enough to go outside to complete minor tasks (we live in the country so we have lots of burs and goat heads and these slippers can even hold up to those!).

The slippers are well made though and have a good amount of cushion, so if you by chance get the correct size for your child they will be worth it

The two downsides I've experienced with these slippers thus far are: 1) the back around your heel keeping your foot in is not that high and often folds down, so these become slippers that your feet can slip out of, while I thought they were more encompassing fuzzy shoes from the photos; and 2) the rubber soles cause a lot of static and several times (especially after petting the cat) I've received a little shock when turning the lights on or off!
