There isn't much spring and the bottom doesn't have that forward angle I enjoy in a good running shoe.

First because of the growing width of the shoe and second because the heel counter is so soft that it caves into the shoe when you try to slip into it.

They have also stretched so I can not double-knot and still have them potentially be a trip hazard.

He is very happy with these shoes due to them being somewhat easy for him to put on and the velcro across the heel let's him adjust both shoes to get a good fit.

They help with back and knee pain
This sneakers are very lightweight and comfortable for everyone.

They are extremely light weight, cushion like you are walking on a cloud, and terrific ankle support.

I have been buying Orthofeet shoes for over a year now and they have all been great along with super customer service.

This new design is without a doubt the most comfortable shoe I have ever had from any manufacture.

I have a TransMetaTarsal amputation of my right foot and these are one of the few shoes that fit, are comfortable, and still hold my short foot in place when walking.

My husband loves these sneakers they would have been his second pair he wore the first pair out because he said they are the most comfortable shoes he owned & he owns  a lot of shoes/sneakers,

This is the second pair I purchased for her and within 2 weeks one croc stopped lighting!

My 3 y/o is a size 7 and they are a perfect for for her, even when using the heel strap.

Added bonus: I did not know that they light up!!

I didn't read the description fully so when they arrived and started to light up (nice and bright, I may add) we were pleasantly surprised.

I wore them to work and my feet were killing me for the first 3ish weeks,

but I still suffered from back, hip and knee pain which typically flared up after running (I'm not a natural).

but my calf muscles ached for the following 3 - 4 days.

but not much cushion for running and your feet will be pretty sore until you get used to them.

But I think they are a little expensive at this price and probably more suited toward weight lifting than running.

but a bit expensive, though I know that this is a bit of a niche market.

However, it does make them a bit less comfortable for casual use and they do squeeze my feet fairly tightly and it means that you have to untie them everytime to put them on.

but not really suitable for an everyday casual shoe since you cannot slip it on and your toes don't really have enough room to full spread out.

Pretty much like walking on concrete barefoot the entire time.

Plus the way it folds when you walk kinda crumples in a weird way and doesnt seem natural or attractive.

Design wise I think they look pretty good, I like that they hid the heel strap inside the shoe..

They are lightweight and feel so natural and flexible.

but not too thick, still feels light, still benefits from quick dry and looks quite stylish like an addidas, and due to the thickenss of the meshing when you walk it folds in a natural way and doesn't look cheap and flimsy like bent cardboard or whatever.

Good weight lifting shoes
As far as barefoot shoes go these are fairly normal in that they have quite a bit of structure/rigidity to them.

Overall I think they are a decent gym shoe weight lifting and some light running

I think the tight fit and  rigid structure of the shoe makes it suitable as a weight lifting shoe

I purchased half a size larger than my normal shoe size as Xero suggest and they're a good fit.

The straps don’t make it narrower around the toes
I wish the designers made the velcro straps work better.

I had to add a little bit of Velcro & glued it to a spot hidden from view.

I snipped off about an inch at the end of the back straps because they were too long and wouldn't stay flat against the side of the shoe.

Also noticed the spaces between the side straps were not the same on both shoes.

The leather ankle strap is also not as comfortable as the elastic strap they used in the past.

I am probably going to cut the strap off and add my own elastic strap,

but they were very wide and there was no way to adjust the places where they were the widest — across the instep and across the area near the toes.

I need narrow and I can’t make it tighter across the toes.

As mentioned in other reviews, I found the straps to be a little loose after removing the plastic form and they are not adjustable.

These fit perfectly and the bands are a little stretchy so very comfortable.

They are a very comfortable height and can wear anywhere.

My feet never hurt even after wearing them for several hours.

I found these and the wedge is a good width and height, there is padding, the straps stretch for a perfect fit.

but if you used a ratchet strap on some Hey Dudes, they’d probably be pretty uncomfortable as well.

I have a feeling that whoever wore these and reviewed them as uncomfortable probably ties their shoes too tightly.

Compared to the ventures these shoes are horrible.

The heel lock is perfect and my foot feels firmly planted inside the shoe.

Excellent for Runners with Wide Forefoot and Narrow Midfoot
If you have a wide forefoot and a narrow midfoot, and/or are searching for something with an Altra fit with better midfoot lockdown, this is the best daily trainer you can buy.

I would still recommend these shoes to someone seeking the unique Topo fit as an alternative to the more established brands (e.g., NB Rebel FuelCell v3), or as an alternative to Altra's daily trainers (e.g., Escalante 3).

Great shoes so far
They fit as expected, and run true to size for my 10 1/2 sized feet.
