I 2ouldnt recommend for harsh terrain either as the shoe bottom is too flexible and you would feel every rock.

The arch area is actually lower than the padding in middle of the foot.

but then the shoes become too tight, and there is no way to remove the original insole because it's glued in.

But they are great excursion shoes very light and comfortable.

After a few weeks of walking, I've noticed a faint hissing sound coming from my right shoe.

The sound is noticeably louder when the sides of the shoe are wet - for example, walking

when walking and your heel presses down, the side of the shoe around the ankles opens and closes like a big mouth.

The cushioning pad in the back of the shoe is rather abrasive.

however the sole material is weak and doesn't last I wore through it in 2 months and popped the air.

I was using my heel to slow down a pallet jack and ended up ramming the wheel of the handle right into my pinky toe. 3.)

The air cushioning in the heel is a great idea in theory.

The heel cushion that protects the back of your foot from abrasion of the shoe works well,

The sole is pretty durable, and I don't see it breaking down in the future.

It also keeps any foreign objects from going through the sole and into your foot.

The memory foam and foam heel support are AMAZING.

These shoes are super comfy in lift water bottles 280-400 a day, long walks, they worked great on reducing fatigue and pressure on my knees feet.
