Came online to buy a new pair for this year and in a bigger size and now suddenly I’m being required to PAY shipping.

however, as they run a size small it seems.

The name brand boots are obviously a size larger (aka- true to size) and much chunkier

Edit 1/6/22 Run smaller than actual size.

Maybe order a whole size larger than needed (i.e., a 7 instead of a 6).

Now that my son is old enough to talk, he told me that the shoes are too tight/too small

but unfortunately that size is not offered.

Maybe go a half size up since these are lined inside.

These boots are not fur-lined as the description suggests,

I still like the boots in general- not too heavy, thick sole, warm, mid-calf height.

They are mid calf height, maybe shorter, and use a Velcro closure that stays shut fairly well.

He's only 2 and cannot express when he is too cold so we're never outside longer than an hour at one time- these boots keep his feet warm (yes, I'm that mom who removes socks and touches toes) and seem easier to walk in than the clunky winter boots from Columbia we have for actual winter storms.

I initially bought a 10 so that i would have extra room to wear warm socks and when I tried them on with my standard ankle height under armour socks they were WAY too small.

I've NEVER had to buy such a big size before.

Order 2 sizes up because a half a size will not due.

I ordered half a size up so allow for thick socks and to tuck my pants into the top and it’s still too tight.

I ordered half a size up per the reviews to allow more room and all it did was add 1/2 inch to the length

They are not the most comfortable on the soles, I feel like they need a thicker more padded sole for comfort on long walks, short walks you don’t really notice it

You really aren’t able to loosen the laces at the bottom.

The base of the tongue is attached to the sides so my narrow feet are squeezed across the top of the foot.

No loosening of the laces can allow for more room at the bottom, only the top.

Since the base of the laces are tight my foot cannot move forward or backward within the actual shoe (which maybe some people will like).

Only complaint is they run slightly too small and toes are sliding forward and hitting the end of the boot.

Bottom line, I have relatively narrow and shallow feet (height from arch to top of my foot) and these squeeze me right across the middle in an u comfortable way.

But my favorite thing about them I that they are not heavy like many snow boots so it is easy to walk longer distances.

They’ve kept my feet warm and dry in both snow and rain, and I like how they do this without feeling like a huge clunky winter boot.

Other than that they are amazing boots that keep your feet warm  and dry!

The insole rapidly fell apart and the lining tore, making a big mess after a couple of weeks.

Second, and worse, very small cracks formed in the soles - making them useless in wet conditions.I gave up on this pair for good when water started coming in the sides, as well.

i'm knocking off a star because the lining - and the attached insole - of one boot likes to come out still attached to my foot.

A minor nuisance, and one that I only deal with when I wear certain pants tucked into the boots, making the fit tighter than usual.

Unfortunately, as a short guy (5'7") with a big foot (10.5), I'm plauged by boots fitting perfectly in the foot, and being GIGANTIC in the shin/calf region (I seriously looked like a kid tromping around in his dad's boots).

Not really a fan of the lining as its bright orange and this type of lining always pulls out eventually.

But upon trying them on, I saw a pair of Han Solo boots turn into just a pair of really nice rain boots.

So what we have is really nice looking, well shaped and well-built rain boots, if that's what you're after.

Highly recommended These are pretty warm - used them to be outside for a few days on single digit (F) weather, and my feet were never cold (also using wool socks) I have another pair of winter boots that are pretty warm too,

Had these boots on and I can honestly say that my feet have never been warmer on the job in winter.

The top of the boot has a nice snug fit too to keep snow from getting in.

The tops are easy to fold over if you want a shorter boot or to tuck pants inside.
