I have a wide foot so I ordered the 9 wide, they were a little loose because I usually wear an 8.5 wide.

However, he can't wear these because his jeans barely go over the boots.

I bought a 2022 Kawasaki KLR650 and the seat height was just a little too much for me to sit flat footed so I needed a little help in the height department.

They gave me the height I needed to sit flat footed on my KLR as well.

I bought a pair of those memory foam shoe inserts and the boots fit better than any shoe I own (and I buy Ecco boots and shoes).

I highly recommend these boot, great quality, rugged, bad ass looking, and extremely comfortable!

Make sure you have a print out of return label.

I can’t exchange them because I don’t have a post office nearby, so I have to just deal with it.

However, I’m taking off one star because the shoe laces are stark white compared to an off-white shoe.

It’s very off-putting and looks cheap so you will absolutely need to order a different pair of laces.

I waited in line for 40 minutes, and was told I had to have a print out of label and the package had to be in a taped box.

Very comfy and good for walking long distances, and they give a nice amount of height with the platform.

The only issue is that I ordered the “black suede” and received the “black leather”.

They sent me the shoe in Black Pu New, it even said it on the box while my order said Black.

If I had to critique something, I’d say that the shoe strings are super cheap and a little long.

They are actually crazy comfortable for the height they give, way more comfortable than even my shorter Chucky wedges or strappy heals.

although I normally wear a 7.5 (38 in European size), I was not even able to put these on.

I ended up ordering two sizes larger than my normal size and it barely fit lengthwise.

Insoles of both pairs I ordered were peeling up.

There's no give to this shoe in any direction, or in the sole.

Both pairs of the sonja clog, in two different colors, had the insole peeling up in the back when I unwrapped them from the box.

And one pair of shoes definitely looked like it had been worn, as the insole was rubbed almost white (versus being black as the rest of the insole was).

Previously, I've used the cabrio and Lisbeth styles and the odd time I've had shoes delivered that were too tight even after I've figured out how to order properly.

The shoes are definitely too narrow (I realize that's my issue for attempting to order a standard width for a normally wide foot), and they are also too short.

Also if you think your foot is a little wide these might be a little narrow.

The added height keeps my jeans from dragging on the ground.

You can’t slip these on, you have to grasp them and the tab on the back is to small.

If I could have gotten a half-size up, I think it would have been perfect. Alas.

though they are definitely too large and I could REALLY USE A HALF SIZE between these two.

Cons: - Skewed sizing system -- they run SMALL - No half size options - Large difference between the sizes (about 1" between the 10's and 11's) - may not be possible to find the right fit - Finger loop on ankle detaching already without any direct use on one of mine

My only complaint is the shaft is quite tight and can be difficult to get my feet in, and i have narrow feet.

but not loose enough for anything but brief uses for sensitive medium+ wide feet.

(but not for a foot that's even just a little wide).

I find American craftsmanship in general, and AE shoes and boots in particular, much like Cadillac, meaning while you may find better attention to detail amongst the European counterparts, on the practical side you're covered, that's the case here too, if I'd be nit picky I could find what to complain about, there was a drop of glue on the leather on one shoe, the one side of the tongue on the one shoe has the mark of the end of the hide, and I could go on, and I must say that had I bought these for the 500$ they cost when not on sale, all this would've been annoying to say the least,

Rugged This boot simply ticks all those boxes It is a light and soft boot, that, to me, is just the right height, it isn't so high that you feel overly buckled up,

There is a smooth transition from the heel to the sole as one walks, making these comfortable for long walks.

I own 9 pairs of Allen Edmonds and these are by far the most comfortable out of the box of all of them.

The tongue is gusseted so no water/debris can make it's way in, kudu leather is almost like the mithril of boots, it's soft flexible and beautiful, while being pretty thick and tough, I know nothing else quite like it.

4) the black leather finish has nice texturing and makes the boots have a clear look of an upper-end brand

but lately, I’ve been more satisfied with my imported boots than the ones that are made in the USA.
