I've worn many models of climbing shoes from Evolv

For climbing shoes, they are extremely comfortable, which is always nice in a climbing shoe so you don’t constantly have to take it off and put it back on.

I would definitely recommend buying these shoes if you are looking for Evolv Climbing Shoes that are laced and are comfortable that work well and aren’t aggressive.

but once the weather turned nice, he started walking around the paths near our home and sadly they haven't held up.

Just not well made at all, and now he's back to shopping for new walking shoes.

I'm so upset that they've not held up - they've become extremely uncomfortable as the padding inside the shoe near his heel has rubbed away on both shoes, exposing the structure inside.

As a negative, I would like the sole to last longer as it seems to wear out long before the leather upper is ready to give up.

I work as a delivery driver so I'm on the road most of the day so I needed confortable and waterproof shoes, and that's where these boots disappointed me, I bought these because of the waterproof feature specifications,

but after a couple of hours out in the rain the water started leaking and even got my socks wet, I don't know if the pair of boots that I got were faulty, but I can't help but feel that I wasted my money, and these weren't cheap.

This would call in to question the overall waterproof level these hikers could sustain.

Originally I got a size 8 and 1/2 by mistake and they will wait too small

It seems like the manufacturers always use a toe cap that is a size too small.

The waterproof neoprene seal is cracking and has come away from the shoe.

when I was walking over ice sheets, I definitely slipped a few times,

The other thing to note is there is little to no arch support in these boots, so I bought my "Walk Hero" insole inserts with me, took out the flat inserts that came with the boot, and replaced them with the Walk-Heros.

I bought these boots for a vacation in upstate New York early February 2023.

They were comfortable, kept my feet warm and provided traction when necessary.

They’re so light on my feet, comfy, plenty of room in the toe box for everything to relax yet still supported, sturdy ankle, warm.

I really like these boots, because I recently moved to NY where they get a lot of snow compared to where I used to live.

Let me tell you, these boots performed like a dream, & kept my feet warm and dry!

Also, I bought my regular size 6 and was able to layer with 2 pairs of NOT thick socks and the boots kept my feet warm all day on the snowy mountain.
