Had to return the them as my orthotics would not fit.

I was about to reorder when I read all the reviews talking about delam in less than a year and poor customer support.

After looking into the best type of shoe glue to use, I found out that it is extremely difficult to keep the entire length of the sole in contact with the boot.

With over 50 years of hiking and trying many boots during those years this boot easily comes at the top of the list.

This is now my third pair leather backpacking boot and all three leather boots beat hands down all of the 15-20 non-leather boots I've owned.

I cannot say enough good things about Asolo boots.

Up until this purchase they were the best fitting boot I ever owned.

After many years of not being happy with any other boot after those pair wore out, I went back to an Asolo low top and an Asolo mid high non leather boots and was very happy with the fit.

If this boot fits your foot correctly you will be very happy.

although it states it is „wide” size - it is NOT.

but if you’re looking for something wider and more spacious, these shoes are def not for you.

I have my old pair to compare them with and they appear less wide than my old 37s,

I'll have to send them back because they're both too long and too narrow for my foot.

but I feel pretty confident that a 37 won't be wide enough for my feet, even if they do stretch out with wear.

I find it pretty annoying that Vivobarefoot advertises the benefits of a wide toe box

but has evidently started styling their toe box more narrow, making it impossible for customers who have been using their shoes for years to buy new styles.

While these are certainly wider than _some_ women's boots I've tried on, they are still not wide enough for my feet.

but it is still aggravating when they are labeled as "wide".

I have a very standard size of UK4 and this was too tight.

Using advice on Vivobarefoot's website, I was told to buy a 36 of the new style--  they were way too small, had to send them back (not easy!

I would replace them with a smaller size,

Also, you may need to order two sizes up, not just one (I sent back my first attempt for the next size up).

Finally
I hike a few times a week in PA’s rocky trails, wet forests, and grassy fields and I must say I finally found my perfect hiking boot.

Discovered this leather boot with no seaming across the front. Pulled them on, laced them up, took a 5 mile trek on our mountain and my feet responded with, "Finally, a boot that makes sense!"

I highly recommend getting these boots when they are on sale to help with affordability.

When I was on active duty I wore the Belleville Mini-Mil boots and while they were ok, these are way more comfortable and Vivo should seriously consider making a combat boot for barefoot service members!

Team the boot up with toe socks and your feet will thank you for it.

I plan to glue it down as they are ridiculously comfortable.

Not Wide
I bought a pair of original Trackers from Vivobarefoot about five years ago and loved them-- most comfortable shoe ever.

Worn for a week now and they keep getting more comfortable.

I just got them today and the first impression is amazing - very well made, with attention to detail, even laces seem to be the top end quality (they really are different, they have something a bit stiff inside which makes me think they’ll be extremely durable).

Lugz Men's Colorado Chukka Boot

Treads are hollow and got holes in them pretty quickly that lead all the way to the insole.

After walking through a stone driveway I had 3 or 4 rocks stuck in each boot and getting them out required me taking the boots off and prying the stones out.

Comfortable and durable
I’ve been wearing Lugz for around 5 years now because they’re not leather and I need work boots.

The Colorado Chukka is the most comfortable and seems like it’s made better than the rest.

I’ve had this one for four months now and I see no signs of failure anywhere on the boots, even the insoles are still intact.

I wear an american size 11, and the size 11 ordered fit just right.

I've been a fan of Vasque for years.

The upper area around the ankle is also very stiff and the layers of material are a bit too thick.

Vasque took a hit in quality when they transitioned from traditional leather boots to manmade materials;

They are light and comfortable right out of the box, as most modern boots are nowadays.
