but once I got out in the woods and was stepping through snow drifts and creeks, all the boots did was let water seep in and stay there.

I'd prefer this boot with a running-shoe like upper that lets water in and out at the same rate.

Wish they would come in wide width in the green color…would have been 5 stars if wide.

The only down side is after a few months of ownership the treads are beginning to wear down rather quickly.

They are also the closest I could get to running shoes within the mid-height boot out there (the rest are just coyote hiking boots).

These boots are extremely comfortable and have an athletic shoe feel.
