Meh… Not as wide as Propet XX-Wide footwear that I’ve worn in the past, minimally sized straps, sounds like walking on rice cereal/bubble wrap.

but the two top, adjustable strap aren't even CLOSE to being long enough for people with fat feet.

The center strap didn't reach the velcro..

There was about 2 inches in the middle of the strap with nothing, so I glued some more velcro on with contact cement, so the center strap could finally reach something to cling to..

The manufactures should consider adding an extra 2 inches of velcro to the center strap on their "Wide" sandals.

I purchased Propet hiking boots last fall an they were so good that when I was looking for sandals I bought the same brand.

They are well made, easy to put on and look nice.

Dislike the fact the back zippers do not go up and down well at all.

The zipper in the back is for looks only and does not zip.

I did not like the fact that the boots back of leg zipper doesn't work.

I've had these for less than a year and the soles are peeling off.

Water seeped into them without a problem and now they are coming apart from the sole.

By March 2022, the sole came apart from the boot.

I need to return these and I’m disappointed because I really liked these boots not just for the looks

I went to put them on this morning to go on my third walk in them, and noticed one of the eyelets was unstitched and came out.

They didn’t last five months of daily wear & tear during daily one hour hikes (on well preserved dirt trails

These boots are comfortable and easy to put on and off.

Originally they were great- fully waterproof and comfortable, used them in the mountains hiking frequently.

Walking in 20 degrees weather my feet stayed warm.

They are comfy, lightweight, and waterproof that your feet are still dry..

They kept my feet toasty warm, never experienced snow or melting ice inside the boot.

So far, I have been wearing them everyday walking my dog and doing yard work.

It has been 3 walks so far and none of the others have broken,

I like that my toes aren't getting pinched by that bend in the boot when I walk like so many other boots do.

quality control

If it wasn't for the quality control issues, I would have kept this boot.

Cons: Quality control is severely lacking.

Oddly enough the place where the stitching was really falling apart was marked with a Quality Control sticker!

The lining had wrinkles and was loose not glued down.

It was apparent this would need to be repaired immediately or the problem would only worsen.

The stitch was place outside of where it was supposed to be and it was plain to see this stitch would most likely get torn or cut during a hike and would place the rest of the stitching for the boot in jeopardy.

On the right boot, where the gore-tex fabric is stitched into the boot was poorly done.

Upon further inspection, the stitching wasn't much better in the left boot.

Upon further inspection found another issues with the stitching of the leather on the inside of the right boot.

Upon further inspection of reviews for this boot from Amazon and other websites, it is also apparent the glue Rocky uses for their boots is not what it used to be and can fail after some use requiring the owner to purchase another pair of boots.

Because of the issues with the pair I bought and questions about durability, I decided to return the boots.

I don't think they would make good work boots because they are so lightweight.

The only complaint I have is that the width of material that holds the tongue in place on the left boot is incorrect such that the tongue always wants to slip to the outside.

In comparing the width of material to the right boot the mistake is clear.

I'd prefer this boot with a running-shoe like upper that lets water in and out at the same rate.

Wish they would come in wide width in the green color…would have been 5 stars if wide.

The only down side is after a few months of ownership the treads are beginning to wear down rather quickly.

They are also the closest I could get to running shoes within the mid-height boot out there (the rest are just coyote hiking boots).
