Will wear thicker socks and a sole insert rather than return.

Any generic gel insole will be more shock absorbing, and even a modest amount of arch support would be welcome.

The foot bed and insert are odd to me as the insert is essentially several other inserts stacked on one another.

This led to part of my foot bring off part of the insert and did not feel overly great.

Nice looking shoe did not last long
This shoe offered very little arch support and the width fit loose.

There is almost zero arch support, and I don't find the Rockport insoles to be anything special despite their "Trutech" label.

I am hopeful they will loosen up a bit as they break in, and assuming this is real leather, they should.

A Great Pair of Dress Causal Ankle Boots. !

The boots are a true dress causal style item.

The boots will look quite stylist with a pair of jeans or with a pair of very nice dress slacks.

The boots has the appearance of a much more expensive pair.

I ordered 10 1/2 W and these really feel as long a an 11 W. Everything else about the size is perfect.


I'm coming back to this 3 years after I purchased because I surprisingly keep getting compliments from random people when wearing it.

In fact, I like them enough that I am tempted to buy another pair in suede!

I bought the Dark Bitter Chocolate Suede variant and the style is exactly what I was expected.

If that is the case I will amend my review and give these 5 stars and may even buy another pair.

Not to size
I bought a size up and still can’t get my foot into these.

1) extremely NARROW 2) laces are round and come undone day 1 Very very uncomfortable shoe I e on ups not recommended unless you buy 1.5 to 2 sizes up

But the sizing is way off - I normally wear a size 11.5 in Merrells and my foot is a standard width in most shoes.

I took a chance on a larger size and still found them unwearable.

It is annoying to have to mess with the product return when the shoes are listed, clearly wrongly, and fit = normal size.

Amazon should correct this given the number of reviewers who have said they are smaller than the sizes claimed.

The quality of the shoes appeared to be excellent, and their design makes it very flexible as to when you can wear them - they should be good walking / hiking shoes and appearance wise, it definitely meets smart casual and probably business casual standards depending on the color you choose (mine were dark earth).

Great shoes
These shoes fit me well 1/2 size larger than most others.

I have narrow feet and these fit like a glove.
