If you try elastic laces they just don't stay tight enough to keep the heel planted and it will lift, so tying the laces is really the only option.

Unfortunately the novelty of tying them wore off pretty fast and he never wore them when going for a walk, he would always grab his velcro top shoes.

The only issues I have with them is the mesh on the area above the toes is a little misshapen and the laces are very thin,

My son said shoelaces come off easily
Size 5 (big kid) we got didn't come with the no-tie shoelace.

They're regular shoelaces and my son said these shoelaces come off easily compared to other pairs he has.

He is annoyed by the shoe laces and doesn't like these shoes so much because of it.

I think I will buy some no-tie shoelaces for this pair to solve the problem.

These shoes really provide good support - for arch support and also helps with not pronating. My son has used these for only two weeks so Dont know how long it will last before the shoes get holes or components fall apart ( thatywhat happens to all his other pairs of shoes - from other big name brand.)
