Best Work Boot
Ive tried several mid-priced work boots over the years.

I dont even have to think about my feet or boots.

The soles don’t have an aggressive lug pattern which I like cuz these boots don’t pick up a lot of mud and debris.

So far very comfortable and fit just right, I wear a 14 wide and finding boots is sometimes hard.

These boots I found to be very comfortable paired with “Dr.

The first day I thought the arch support was a little bit too aggressive for my flat feet,

but as the day progresses either my feet molded to it or the shoe did but I couldn't notice the aggressiveness soft he arch support anymore.

but unfortunately there is not enough room in the upper to make room for feet curved with arches like mine are.

but what is the point of great arch support if arched feet don't fit in them?

Since my feet are arched, the "tongue" area of the upper cuts into the top of my foot.

They are more painful on my feet than any other work shoe I have ever tried on.

As uncomfortable as they were, I made sure to wear them around the house and out to a few places for 2 weeks before I even brought them to work.

The soles of these seem to be rubbery and therefore have somewhat of a give to them.

however, that join the leather upper to the sole have managed to split the sole across the entire fronts of both clogs.

but the tops of my feet kill and the metatarsal/front ball area of my forefoot is going numb.

Over the last 2 weeks at work (4 week total break-in period) I wore them for prepping, then switched back into my old shoes for the dinner rush once they started hurting those areas of my feet.

My heel still gets tired after 8 hours of standing, and I noticed a tendency to roll my ankles (hence the 1 star less)

Not to mention, the heels are so high that they add more pressure onto the front of my feet.

My wife is flat footed, so hers fit more comfortably,

They fit fine and have the same weight feel and wear comfort as Dansko clogs.

While the leather is definitely more supple, there's a quality of fit throughout the shoe that was wholly missing in the Dansko product.

I still love the fit and the relief they provide my surgically-fused spine.
