Great boots/shoes.

I actually received a free pair of white socks with my order, it was in the box with the boots.

but the boots are great for a quick venture into snow.

The thing is, I once went through the snow to grab stuff from the car, and the boots protected my feet perfectly.

I couldn't understand why these were so huge when I wear Tevas all the times.

The strap also fits very low on my foot and constantly is falling off while I walk I saw reviews that these are great for wider feet which means maybe narrow feet don’t fit as well.

A strange fit for narrow feet
I’m usually a size 8.5 or 9 so I bought both size 8 and 9.

I really do wish they had half sizes because neither felt truly right to me.

Irritated to get a Mens shoe when its advertised as Womens
I doubled checked all over this listing to make sure it was a women's shoe.

They're so awesome in fact, my husband had to get a pair. Lol.

The straps make it easy to find the perfect fit for your foot (even those of us with wide feet).

However, be ready to immediately replace the insole.

Used them on a river walk and the insole basically disintegrated in a matter of minutes.

First thing to go wrong is the super soft inserts,  the edge of the of the inserts curl up mid foot and poking into the side of my feet .

This would be because the bottom material of the inserts are hard and not flexible so what ended up happening to me is the inserts broke into 3 pieces when I was trying to adjust the insert and putting it back in the shoe or sandal. 2.

When I was tightening my laces ,the laces broke where they are glued together at the bottom of the laces .

The only real complaint were the inserts (see photos).

Summary: If the inserts had been better engineered, higher quality this product would have rated a 4* review.

The size runs smaller than normal shoe size.

The shoes would be perfect if they were a closer match to normal shoe size.

The inside fold for the tongue and the lace loop are poorly located.

I've tried moving the fold, shifting the tongue, not lacing that loop, and it still presses in.

Needs side zips
Only thing missing were side zips.

It presses on the inside top of your ankle bones and hurts.

It's double sewed into the leather it sticks in way past everything else on the lining.

Disappointed you cannot exchange the boot for the next size up.

Still a little bitter with the pricing and lack of ability to exchange.

My only complaint is irrelevant ;) After 1.5years of wearing them, the seam above the heal between the rubber and the boot leather, finally gave way.
