I bought these boots hoping that 4E wide would give me enough room for my wide feet,  unfortunately I have to returned the boots because they were way small ( width) wise they do ran small compared with one pair that I wear now ( Michelin size 12 2E) Carolina boots 4E  were smaller with 3/8"  hard to believe, I couldn't even get the boot on to try it,

The boots are very well made and comfortable once I replaced the provided inserts with a pair .

The grip on the bottom of these shoes are awful and wear out very quickly.

They also run a little on the larger side - I wear a 7 in most shoes, 8 in a few brands - these are a smidge big at a 7.5 -

The reason they will not get 5 stars though is I don't like how the men's version got a zipper on the side

After TWO uses the laces started coming apart.

If I do them up to the top lacing they are very uncomfortable as I'm on the shorter side and they hit me in the back of the calf.

The finger strap on the back used to help pull the boot on broke, twice.

Poor quality, doesn't slip right on using the zipper.

Nope, the next pair had the strap break the first time I put it on.

The other thing is the zipper design sucks.

The zipper doesn't go down far enough thus making me have to un-tie it, zip it up, then tie the boots again.

EASY to put on and take off!

Great For Those Who Can't Easily Tie Shoes/Boots I ordered this for my pop who has had hip and leg surgeries, so bending over to tie shoes is rough.

The zippers on the side make for putting these boots on and taking them off very easily.

Now, they are slightly comfortable, and I do wear them at one of my two jobs.

While a lot of younger people might purchase these, I highly recommend for older folks to purchase as well due to the benefits of having great support, being lightweight and comfortable, and being slip resistant.

Fits perfectly and has room for a wide foot.

Size 7.5 fit him well with no pain or tightness.

very comfortable shoes,  seem very sturdy, have had problems with several shoes soles coming off and these seem like they will last a long time, and fit great and look good, simple black shoes no dumb corportate logos or designs so they can blend in with work clothes easy.

After several months of wearing these, they are still comfortable.
