We bought these because my daughter dances ballet and she's obsessed with the animated movie Leap!

I actually think it's b/c they are more supportive than her regular ballet slippers (thicker).

My daughter absolutely loves anything to do with ballerinas and ballet.

These are comfortable and include an elastic band to help them stay in place.

Nice snug fit around the ankle and she has a pretty narrow foot.

PROS: Much more Comfortable than I thought it would be.

She wears a 2-2.5 and the 2.5 fit perfect.

Perfect for my daughters dance class
As we all know these aren't always the prettiest shoes for dance,

I would suggest these as they have held up to my daughter's dance classes for the past few months.

My daughter is growing like a weed, and struggles to tie her shoes, so these are great!

My daughter loves to dance in these shoes!

they fit just as they should, and we use them to this day.

These almost have a wide fit- they make her feet look like duck feet.

They fit her well, and she says they are really comfortable.

Excellent & Comfortable Fit
I have been looking for flats for months and had ordered 2 pairs of shoes that I had to return due to an inaccurate fit for a size 6 woman's shoe.

Unfortunately, the rubber sole started to come away from the shoe after just a couple of wears.

There's no padding in the foot bed with very little padding in the heel,  They are too small to add any inserts for extra padding.

The shoes come with a blue poron (high density foam) inner sole, which for some odd reason runs from the rear of the shoe through the arch,

This is a mystery to me - I think tap dancers, like me, spend more time on the ball of the foot than the heel, so why the padding doesn't extend there is baffling.

The inner sole does crack over time (8-10 months) from going up on toes and pointing,

but it doesn't make the shoe uncomfortable.I can see that having the inner sole cover the entire shoe bed would mean more cracking, but surely they could have separate pad at the ball of the foot, and keep a heel pad if needed.

In fact, too soft and flexible for me because I could feel the edge of the heel transfer through to the insole.

The flex sole is stiffer out of the box than the Capezio.

but my daughter always wears a 3 M and these 4 W were way too small.

Should have gone up 1/2 size
I wore these shoes for a tap class within an hour of receiving them.

The second time I wore them, the ball of my left foot and left heel became fatigued and ached.

The shoe sizes street shoe to slightly small - I'm a 6 1/2 or 7, and the 6 1/2 fits me; I wear a 7 1/2 Bloch dance sneaker.

but one shoe stretched out too much due to a foot brace I wore for much of last year.

Now that I'm not wearing it, I can't tighten the shoe enough.

For my purposes, the heel is somewhat of a bummer.

This shoe at least doesn't have a leather wrapped heel, which looks ratty after about a week in my case (sorry Bloch).

- The heel is rather long and extends forward almost to the arch.

It looks and feels somewhat like a ballet shoe mounted on heels - Very soft and flexible right out of the box.

They were comfortable for the 1 1/2 hour class.

but not have the discomfort of wearing Irish hard shoes for hours a day.

- The blue insole is comfortable at the heel

Bloch Tap-Flex: - Shaped more like an Oxford, wider at the ball and tapering toward the toes - Soft leather upper.

My absolute favorite shoe by Leo's, since discontinued, had a solid, high-density plastic heel, and it was great.
