But the soles are so squishy it makes them uncomfortable to wear.

All in all soles are to squishy/really thick foam, the size to large.

The fur insert makes my feet slide so I had to put in regular inserts.

When I removed the fur insert, it looked and felt like a cardboard sole.

It honestly walks like a cardboard sole..

I do love the inside, all shearling they do keeps your toes toasty.

But they were comfy and easy to lace up when I tried them on.

I ordered a size 7 and my toes hit it wasn’t uncomfortable I actually like my shoes to fit like a glove, just right.

If they fit your foot perfectly I could see that these would be comfy to wear all day.

Keeps my feet warm, they are comfortable and a little classier for work or going out than regular chunky Bear Paw or UGG style boots.

That aside, they're pretty comfortable outside of that issue.

They're definitely warm and dry which are also pretty important.

but is insanely comfy
I am always a size 7 in shoes or boots.

If you walk on concrete or pavement a lot (city folks) I would say these boots would be a dream.

I wear a 9M/11W and these fit perfectly!

I now have room for thick socks and regular socks still fit comfortably in these boots.

Defective Velcro Stitching
The Velcro Strip on one of the slippers that connects to the strap for tightening and loosening the slipper’s fit was not properly sewn down around the ENTIRE Velcro strip.

A few pulls on the strap will easily tear the Velcro off the slipper.

I returned the first pair of slippers for an exchanged pair.

However the second pair I received also contained SAME improperly sewn Velcro on one of the slippers.

The slippers were too short and not wide enough.

3-Walking on hard surfaces with hard sole slippers feel like there is no padding at all.

7-On flat slippers without rear support, they sould be completely flat at the back with no 1/4" decorative rib.

8-It irritates one and doesn't help to keep the slipper on your foot.


The first pair of slippers that I received were defective.

Just wish the soles were a little thicker so goat head stickers wouldn't Pentwater when outside.

Also he felt they lack adequate support in the sole.

4-Inside padding should be prominent, thick and pack only minimally.

It took me awhile to figure out why the sole had some uncomfortable spots.

The administrator at my mom’s health care center told me there was no return information or an address to return, I told Brooks just give them to someone in the center that can use them.

As instructed by Silverts, I returned the sliippers, with the reasons for the return.

Overall he said they were too wide and his foot slid around in them, yet the strap across the top was too short to secure the slipper properly.

It's not a good design if you have a high instep and only slightly wide foot.

14-Do NOT put in decorative laces or incorporate pleats into the slipper design because they irritate.

5-The padding is the most important since slippers should not provide arch support, only luxuriating comfort.

While the tie closure for a snug fit, there is zipper on the inside of the shoe allows for easy on and off.

They have nice wide black laces, and on the inner side, they also have a zipper for easy on/off.

Lacing and unlacing high tops can be a pain in the neck and can make the laces start to look worn and sloppy before their time, so I think the zip is a pretty handy feature.

The zip is black and blends in pretty readily to the body of the shoe.

My son wore the boots the day after receiving them and had not even made it through the school day and the seams popped and ripped on the front part at the zipper .

My 7 year old normally wears a size 2, I ordered a size 3 and still snug with regular socks.

but after wearing them the third time, playing, crawling around making big snowballs in the school yard, the zipper was gone off the right boot.

We tried 2 different boots from this same company and both were WAY too small (in 2019 we purchased a 13, this year size 2).

However the rough side of the Velcro is what is on the main part of the boot so it would probably rub/scratch the leg above the ankle if the insert is removed.

When we received the boots the zipper on one was stuck and couldn't get it to zip up or down.

They even followed up to make sure I got them and that they fit and the zippers worked.

There's a soft interior and inner sole and the little air pocket—though totally gratuitous for someone the size of my kid—is a fancy add on.

With non-tie laces and an easy velcro strap on top, they are secure and easy to operate.

though kids tend to blow through shoes by growing out of them so quick, it's still nice to get a pair that are made well and won't fall apart in the 6 months that they fit the little barbarian.

These look great and they are built well so that they will last longer than they need to no matter what the kiddo puts them through.

but when I got these and first put them on, they pinched my little toes, they felt a little narrow.

The toe bed is not as rounded as I thought -- more narrow.

I have worn them several times and the more I wear them the more they break in and the leather gets a little bit softer, so be patient when you first get them.

It's a little weird, looks like they have been worn a lot.

The fit was very small and I have average/slim feet and could barely get them on.
