The ArchFit and rocker bottom allows for extended  mileage fast walk workout with no foot pain.

Bought these think sole shoes to help balance me out because the walking boot had a high heel on it and they (it) worked great.

My doctor commented that they were very good shoes with a lot of cushion which is what I needed for post op.

Two nits:  1) no pull strap on back - I had one put on at the shoe repair shop.

2) Short laces, and not even the same length!

They boots are narrow, pointed, and slick, especially toward the toes.

but the tread did not slide over the serrations on the footrest, so movement was not smooth.

The heel would 1) catch the footrest and 2) force your foot to dip down at too great of an angle when the heel was on the footrest. 3.

Fell apart in less than 3 weeks
I used these boots to work in the garden.

I purchased these boots on August 4th and as the picture shows they are unwearable now.

But not very serviceable Do not purchase these boots, they are flawed.

My favorite feature is the gym shoe like sole.

Merrell Women's Winter Boots Snow

Several reviews said these would not be good for people with wide feet, which made me a bit nervous as my feet are a solid medium-large in width,

I had to give them a pretty hard yank to get them on past the narrow part at the ankle, which made me wish they had just gone with a side zipper as I felt like the back zipper didn't really loosen this area at all,

Merrell's footwear never fails to provide an actual foot-shaped base, and these boots are no exception, which automatically makes them more comfortable than most.

The footbed is comfortable as with other Merrell footwear I own.

So far a nice winter short boot to walk with the dog.
