While the ankle opening area is wider than I expected (almost wide enough to slip my foot in without undoing the zipper), the toe area is fairly narrow.

ORDERED A 9 1/2 EXTRA WIDE AND SOMEWHAT SMALLER IN WIDTH THAN I EXPECTED.

but the uppers are quite sturdy feeling leather, with good lining (maybe even too much lining for hot weather).

However, cleaned up with some boot cream and polished, they look far better - a shinier darker finish, and protected from minor scuff marks.

Rubber outer soles and heel are quite sturdy rubber - I don't imagine you'll need to replace these before the boots unless you're dragging your heels while riding a motorcycle.

Have had these boots before and they ware well.

The insoles are good, and I'm usually picky about comfortable insoles.

The straps do not tighten these boots to the point that they won't pull off.

Dropped the second Star; when I realized that after 3 weeks the Velcro fastener on the end of the zipper is already coming off (see image).

The strap across the top of the foot has an elastic part which makes it completely useless for tightening and the strap is only for show.

There is padding on the inside of the boot and even more on the front to help protect your shins from debris or anything else that might get kicked up, that’s a bonus and shows they have riders designing their product, or at least they accept input from riders.

I've been wearing Milwaukee motorcycle boots for 5 years and they are still in service and they still look great

With the straps tightened as tight as possible and even adding a new hole, I can still put these boots on and take them off without using the side zippers.

I actually started thinking 5 Stars when I took these boots from the box.

Pros: It is a nice looking boot The leather is nice and soft and quite thick There is a padding on the shin that is very nice.

The boots are pleasantly taller than I anticipated.


Ordered a half size smaller based on previous reviews and these fit like a glove.
