strap

1 shoe has too much material and the heel straps are too loose.

The problem is the strap around the big toe.

Not totally adjustable
Photo one shows that I have the back straps as tight as possible, yet it is too loose and travels up and down the back of the heel.

Photo two shows the foot straps are too long.

The excess strap was puzzling as I have a high arch and high instep.

Also, the straps tighten on my foot throughout the time that I’m wearing them to the point that my toe has diminished circulation so I’m forced to take my sandals off and readjust them in public.

The straps across the feet don’t adjust.

I’d try them again if they changed their construction of the straps.

However, I can't seem to find the same fit now - the 8 regular is too narrow at the heels (it feels like they're boring holes into the sides of each heel within an hour of wearing them) and the 8 wide are way too wide (it feels like I have tennis racquets strapped to my feet).

I finally found a wide-width sandal for every day at a reasonable price.

My last pair of Chaco's were amazing and I used them for everything from hiking and canoeing to wearing them at work.

I hate that these shoes have faded in style as far as being in the department stores.

You can go from a picnic and boating to a restaurant and then out for a semi casual and wear just one shoe.

I felt a difference in my foot position immediately (I have very low arches), and I am looking forward to improving my feet after decades of misguided wisdom about arch support and physical activity.

Water drains well out of them and lightweight yet durable.
