I do a lot of hiking with my dogs and finding comfort,traction, and waterproof shoes ain’t easy-these are the  BEST walking shoes I have ever had-and I have tried a lot.

Many toe aches disappear when walking in these shoes.

I just forced myself to toss my favorite pair of these same shoes..I need steel toe and harder to find for women.

but, BOTH pairs had the same issue with the right shoe tongue not staying flat.

So, these are priced lower because they are factory seconds and whatever worker or machine was in charge of sewing the tongue on the right shoe only needs recalibration, or retraining!

but are real heavy also they hurt my toes because they are too small even tho I got wide width.

These shoes are like walking on clouds.


Working nine hour shifts, I've always found Keen work shoes to be comfortable and not too heavy.

I've cut some Doc Scholl's shoe liners to fit the sandals and that does the trick, without the felt, the shoes, were too big and sliding around and painful.

However, my prescription arch supports will not fit into them.

I like slip-on shoes for walking the dog.

The shoes are good looking and comfortable.

These are and they are very cool and comfortable.

Comfortable with modification
This is an excellent pair of rugged sport shoes with vents that keep your feet cool and comfortable pending the socks you use.

That said, with a pair of Dr. Scholls custom orthotics the shoes are transformed into a very comfortable pair of shoes that should hold up over time.

I ordered them on the strength of Rockport produce quality and very comfortable footwear which I have bought over my lifetime and never been disappointed till now . !!!

The foundation of the shoe is very solid and leaves you feeling very stable when walking about.

Can't remember if this is my third or fourth pair, I use Shoe Goo to do repairs as needed as I have had some issues with parts of the sole coming loose from the edge, use at work, and use gardening, walking, etc.

Two small things; One, my feet seem to sweat because of the waterproofing I am sure

but aren't nearly as comfortable on the sole as Keens, imo.

The inner sole is made of some sort of poly-plastic and it's noticeable, as your sock does slip a bit on it.

I love the Keen Targhee for its comfort & durability,

I love a good Keen and I'm happy to have found this shoe on sale.

Finally a boot I can wear
I was trying to find new hikers to wear as winter boots and suddenly it dawned on me that if my Keen sandals are so comfortable, why not try the hikers?

These shoes are so comfortable that walking doesn't bother my feet while wearing them.

Only brand of boots I've tried that required zero break-in time, and they're durable as well.

Whenever I finally need new boots, I'll be getting another pair of these.

I re-ordered this same boot in Size 8.5--my street shoe size--and it is the perfect fit.

This women's boot has a reasonable width heel, not as proportionally wide as the toe box is.

They fit nice over the arch (I have a high instep and getting my feet into boots has often been a problem) and I needed something waterproof.


These shoes are fantastic and comfortable.

Great fit and quality… I bought 2 pr for my adult kid also.

He has very hard to fit feet and these work perfect!

Day two, I was using the heel loop to help pull the boot on and it snapped at one end.

Day five, I was pulling the lace tight on the left boot and one of the loops that are supposed to hold the laces snapped.

I have the exact shoe, except the hunter green with pink that’s not waterproof.

They are quality and easy to wipe off with an amazing footbed that Keen is known for (I almost exclusively buy Keen).

Finally a waterproof shoe for walking in grassy fields.

This is the first shoe I have found in many years that is actually waterproof for walking my dogs in grassy fields.
