I’ve owned abates boots before the “Women’s Tactical Boot” I wear a size 8 sometimes depending on the shoe size is 8 1/2 and I do have a wide fridge with a big arch.

These are by far the best boot on the market I deliver for FedEx.

Fits as stated
These boots are so comfortable.

I do not feel pain when the boot bends at the middle of my toe.

I bought these boots thinking I'd be able to replace my pair of Sorrels and while they're a great pair of boots, they are completely different.

I do feel confident & safe walking in the snow or icy conditions while wearing these boots (Chicagoland Polar Vortex Climate🥶) & so far they have kept my feet warm ~20* F.   The quality is A-1 and I do believe these boots will last an eternity.

but again not much-if any-padding surrounding your foot, your feet are not supported  3. they feel like they are a half size larger than a typical boot - maybe from the lack of padding?

Broke in 90 days/new pair-- showing signs of wear
got these Christmas of 2020---it is not mid-March and they are falling apart--CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS REACHED OUT TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT--THEY HAVE OFFERED TO SEND ME ANOTHER PAIR (I RECEIVED THEM 4-11) ---I TOLD THEM I WOULD UPDATE THE RATING 5 STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE BUT NOT SURE ABOUT THE SHOE YET---I WILL COME BACK LATER.

Only issue was that shortly after he started wearing them a red line appeared above the sole, I assumed it was heat from his foot and glue seeping up.

but walking in them my toe hits the toe cap.

I walk mainly on unimproved surfaces, these may be too soft to last more than a couple months on concrete.

but not enough padding for running or long distance hikes

but having that zipper on the side just relieved me from that burden.

My boots usually blow out at the ball of the foot, these have not, yet.

They have a built in cushioned heel and they are about 2 inches taller on the high tops then your average work boot which i thought I was going to like

Lol idk how long it's been since I originally made this, BUT I feel like it's been over a year and the boots were so good for the price that I bought a new pair yesterday.

Got rid of the patch on the inside of the boot and this leather is much cheaper not impressed.

Along with the brass rivet/gusset they have used to attach the outer extra layer of leather has pushed into the boot creating a hole.

The first set I had abused the shot out of; cuts in the leather, wear and tear on the soles, & worn out shanks.

Grants they lost the waterproofness in the last year of ownership due to cuts in the leather,

I decided to wear the boot thinking it'll settle and maybe some of the cork or foam on the inside just was set funny.
