strap

There are two areas on the top strap that have rubbed blisters on his foot.

My only complaint is the fabric on the strap (that touches the feet) is more hard than I’d like.

Surprised they don’t use a softer fabric.

Biggest negative is they are slippery when wet.

but the comfort faded and they are basically sponges so no good around water.

That pair lasted so long, and I put them to good use too.

Incredibly durable, longest lasting flip flops I ever known.

They are not just the average flip flop, they are very classy.

I am a woman’s size 8 and got these in a man’s size 7.

Initially, the fit seemed to be a bit small,

Why does it seem like every shoe company uses different sizes?

but am frustrated that I've owned size 11 in the past and now they don't fit.

sole

For starters the bottoms no longer looked neat they were rocky and jagged and an awful gum rubber color, the footbed was similar

I do wish they would bring back the creamish/whiteish sole

I fell more than once while wearing them when the bottom became wet.

I subtracted a star because of the sizing issue.

waterproof

I am blown away how long these lasted and they still look "good" I wear these very often and just can't believe how well they wear.

Love these flops better  quality than anything I have ever owned🙏

I can’t say enough they don’t crack like most of the flip flops out there and they last forever.

For a simple shoe, you cannot beat this FLOJO "flip-flop".

I do a lot of walking and spend time on my feet, and these flip flops will allow you to walk comfortably all day long.

UPDATE: So I wanted to check back in on what are still my favorite flip flop of all time.

Flojos
These are so comfy as this is my 4th pair of this specific ones of flojos.

These flip lops can last more than a decade
I bought my first pair of Cole's Flojos back in 2009 because I didn't want to wear athletic slippers all the time as it wouldn't fit with all types of clothing and these slippers were just bare minimum, comfy slippers.

I owned a pair for  a few years and they were absolutely comfortable and durable.

I have been wearing them now for a few months and can't over-state how comfortable they are.

however after wearing them for about 2 weeks, they loosen up quite nicely and fit very well.

I like wearing them to the gym, I go barefoot most of the time in the gym.

So I'm wearing my 4th pair as I type and they're great.

In fact, they also seem to work extremely well as a leather chew toy for neighbor's dogs when you visit - giving you an opportunity to buy another pair to enjoy!

After two years with this pair I just bought my 5th pair.

Because of this, and my desire to have another good experience I'm going to buy my 7th pair directly from their site instead of relying on a 3rd party.

I'll be purchasing another pair after I submit this update.

Foot-bed Wear at 3 Weeks
The finish on the foot-bed of the left sandal wore through with occasional indoor wearing during the first three weeks.

The right sandal is fine. I contacted customer care at Reef, provided pictures of the premature wear and  got no response beyond the automated "Thank you for contacting Reef!"

My husband stopped wearing them because they were so loud,

It was a mistake in this case as I have now exceeded the 30 day return window.

but they got heavy use and lasted as long as expected.

Reef's Jay Bay III are in my opinion the best flip flops you can buy on the market.

The nice leather makes these rigid so they really slap your foot on the return.

Best Reef Leather Sandals
This pair replaces a 4+ year pair of the same sandal.

These are a bargain compared to other highly rated leather thong sandal brands.

The leather quality is top grade and they have the double leather thong between the toes versus nylon in many other leather sandals, including Reef.

Good so far
They seem to work, it's a nice sandal and it fits correctly.

They fit like a glove and the soles mold to your feet.

They were easy to break in as they fit my feet well.

They’re high quality materials. Comfortable.

They are comfortable from day 1 and get more comfortable throughout their lifetime.
