I'll be using these for welding as the boot and steel toe are covered in Leather which is better than mesh.

many times steel toe boots or shoes can feel a bit uncomfortable and/or heavy, these are neither, they are very comfortable and do not feel heavy at all.

Bought a size 10 and my toes are not all crammed up like some other steel toe boots.

this is my second pair, not because i wore out the first, just that i found these on amazon at a great price these shoes are by far one of the best shoes/boots i have ever worn.

if you need steel toe shoes, that wear very well, are very comfortable, you could do much worse that these sketchers, i for one would highly recommend these shoes.

i have to say these are second to the old "high test" boots of 30 years ago, long since gone, they had the best insoles known to man, and for whatever reason those insoles are not available anywhere else, that is until now with these sketchers, which are a very close second in my opinion.

the insoles are really the big selling point for me, they allow for standing for hours on concrete without leg/foot pain.

The memory foam is great on the feet as well.

I work 12 hour shifts at a steel mill and these boots are so uncomfortable, even after breaking them in.

I can't use insoles because they make the met guard rub against my foot in an uncomfortable way.

They run really big as I wear a 9 in shoe's so I ordered two pairs a 9 and a 8.5.

I wear boots every day in every season ranching and in construction and these are amazing.

Great quality
They are comfortable right out of the box and I am a welder and like the slip on boots b/c they hold up longer than the lace up boots

but after it does these are very comfortable and the met guard is really nice.

These spend their time covered in mud and snow and keep my feet dry and comfortable.

Soles falling off
I bought these boots in February for an upcoming job.

The soles are falling off the boots as of June 1st.

My only complaint is that the soles don’t hold up well to the power plant life.

There’s also no padding in the inside of the heal.

Order a half size bigger than you normally wear, as well as they run narrow.

50 days of 7-12’s caused significant wear.

Best steel toe boots I’ve had an over a decade
The best boots I’ve had in years, I’m a welder and I’m on my feet for 11-12 hours straight.

Only time will tell how they hold up

but I have had them for about a month and been through muddy areas and constantly working on uneven surfaces , and scaffold crawling dragging the toe occasionally  the boot is comfortable and not to heavy on your ankle , defiantly one of the more comfortable boots I usually wear the driving Mocs from twisted X those are the most comfortable boot I’ve had , and these are pretty close.

I use that part of my boots at work quite often and was pretty psyched about them having that.

Everything else about these boots are pretty nice so far.
