With 10.5 US D wide, my big toe may hit the front if I do not lace them snugly through the fore foot.

Shoe strings did deteriorate on me on 2 pairs

One hook for the upper boot lace popped off while simply threading the new lace onto the uppers.

Good quality leather, comfortable fit and size seemed true.

I really lucked out in my town in that we have a boot repair specialist that was able to sew an outer leather strips over the loosened seams.

He did an excellent repair, matched the leather color and stitch color, looks factory finish.

The only 2 real negatives to these boots are the padded collar make wearing slim jeans a no go as leg opening isnt wide enough.

They are quality leather and a lot more construction ready than the San Jose’s. Chad

They are very sturdy leather and yet somehow not sweaty boots at all (I have hot feet).

Holding up well
Very comfortable and seems to be holding up after a few months I would recommend these boots to anyone in construction

I have tried quite a few different moc toe boots, thorogoods, Carolinas etc,

These are also much more durable than the san jose boot they make, an order of magnitude better.

Worth Every Penny - 8 months after purchase
The picture shows a pair of very loved boots (although a bit dirty).

I love these boots for inside work, ladder, roof, warehouse, and even outside work.

Caution- I have worked these boots inside and outside quite a bit very happily,

but these are far and away more comfortable to me.

but they are pretty comfortable in a couple weeks and I am liking them.

I’ve owned probably 40 or more pairs of keens and this is one of the most comfortable!

The tread on these seems to be much more durable than the regular Christy sole, and a step above the maramec sole on the thorogoods.

These shoes have been perfect for my daughter.

Bonus: they are super cute and this sandal design is way cooler for hot temperatures.

Beautiful, high quality and most importantly they will help correct feet issues including toe walking and others

The heel support is very high and rubs against the achilles tendon when worn without socks.

Wore them to work with ankle socks and the shoe irritated my ankles so I had to run home and put on long socks.


Wear is certainly firmer than expected for a runner - after my adidas sneakers this is firm.

I just had to toss these shoes out because the walls of the heel are made of some type of plastic that degraded so quickly it has, in less than a year, crumbled and piled up behind my feet in both shoes.

However, two things that can be improved are the heel support which is too high and too hard and the toe box which is too loose.

but would have liked an X-wide fitting and this was not available so went up a 1/2 U.S. size to compensate.

They hurt my ankles
I was determined to get these shoes after trying  them on in the mall and not finding my size ANYWHERE

This might cause blisters or injury to the tendon.

but that's being fussy - this is an all round great casual shoe and quite cool (I get hot feet so I dread canvas and leather shoes) as they are well ventilated.
