This is a great shoe for those that stand a lot or have leg pain.

Tying up the shoes puts too much pressure on the area where the eyelets are located.

But, unfortunately it does not allow me to lace them as tightly.

With the inability to fully tighten laces on this shoe, I find them a bit too big, and the right one slips ever so noticeably.

The shoe needs a more cushiony insole and the tongue needs to be made a little bit wider to protect the top of the foot.

I have worn new balance shoes for many many years.

but I’m having a major problem with the tongue on the shoes when I slide my foot in the tongue tends to collapse and go down into the shoe because it has made a very lightweight material and is also shorter than the tongue on the new balance shoes.

but i was able to jog father than i've been able to before with little to no pain in my legs but i jog pretty much six to seven times a week and these shoes where unbelievably light and cant say it enough but the shock absorption is incredible so much so i just bought some walking shoes for everyday wear tonight from hoka.

Walking on air
I’m on my feet all day and these are the best shoes I’ve ever owned.

I’m constantly on my feet and walk at least five miles a day, the comfort of these shoes allow me to not have to deal with foot pain all day or in the evening.

The most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn
I purchased these a month ago on the recommendation of a friend and they are wonderful.

I bought these in a 6 as reviews say they are suitable for wide feet, & the 5.5's were too tight.

On my normal, none wide foot they weren't exactly roomy either.

but the most annoying feature is the narrow ridging on the soles.

It is impossible to clear loose grass from the soles as it gets trapped in the very narrow ridges, and even running water on it does little to remove it.

Merrell has been the only brand of walking shoes that I've bought for several years, the size is dependable and they wear well.

Great support, no blisters, felt like I could walk a few more miles.

Salomon Women's Alphacross 5 Gore-tex Hiking Shoe

I've worn them on and off for about 2 weeks more or less and they just don't give the same comfort as the normal Alpha 5's.

However,  that made them considerably stiffer and quite uncomfortable for me.

I have multiple chronic health conditions and it was the first time I wasn't in excruciating pain in my legs and feet from standing and running around all day.


I initially bought and tried the normal (not GORETEX) versions of this one and they were honestly like walking on clouds.

The sole gives good support so you won't slip because it latches onto wherever you're stepping with its groves.

Size 5.5 fits me very well and it's great these come in half sizes.
