Nice Wife: After reading reviews, I decided to go a half size bigger since the reviews said the "wide calf" wasn't very wide.

Doesnt make it uncomfortable, just thought I'd mention it.

I zipped up without any problem on the first zip (size 9W) and have calves about 18”-19”.

But otherwise a perfect boot for people with wide feet AND wide calves.

The great thing for me about these boots are that I dont have a wide foot area,

First wide calf boot that actually fit I am 5’2 inches tall and the widest point on my calf is 15.5 inches.

These boots fit and at the top have some gapping (so the extra fabric maybe wasn’t necessary 🤷‍♀️) They fall right below my knee cap.

I would like to clarify that this are Latin dance shoes Salsa, Bachata and etc., that's why they have suede on soles and heels.

Swing dance lands on the heel quite a bit and the suede bottoms on these heels just dont work, its too slick.

The big problem is that for some reason the heels on these have suede on the bottom as well as the main foot.

The heel is a little off, like it was put on crooked, makes the whole shoe wobbly.

However, the heel part from right shoe is somehow wobbly, it makes me hard to stand on it in a while

but I just felt unstable and I danced poorly because of it.

But, they run large and unless you have the ankle strap really cranked down your foot slips and then the toes aren't as comfortable.

but suede on the heel is too slippery I needed a low heeled dance shoe for west coast swing and country dancing.

Thankfully, I had ordered another pair to try from a different brand and I can use those buckles before returning the shoe.
