but I think you need to use these with a degree of common sense - the sole must be mm's - it's not going to offer the same protection as a hiking boot with a half inch sole.

I've gone on a handful of hikes with them, and I can't really recommend hiking in particularly rocky terrain due to the lightweight-ness of the shoe and how thin the soles are.

Every pair I have has holes in the sole right under the center part behind my toes.

I do hope they come up with a more durable sole and reinforced sides for a longer life of the j Update: The leather uppers are awesome.

The center of the pad behind my toes always wears out in 6-8 months.

Last week, a hole developed in the sole of the right shoe and the left is paper thin.

but the life of the shoe is so short lived because of the soles wearing out so fast.

That should be a automatic drop in price due to the lack of durability with the life of the soles.

The leather (above the toes mostly) started to warp maybe half a year or more ago, hasn't affected the fit really,

I haven't polished or cared for the leather in any way other than wiping them clean once in a while with a damp rag and drying afterwards, so proper care could possibly extend their longevity and keep their shape/appearance.

Treads are starting to wear a bit near the heel and ball of my feet.

They also started squeaking a bit more on tile floors in the last few months, possibly due to the treads wearing?

The shoe is very light in weight with a roomy toe box.

However, very comfortable - like wearing thin sandals that stick to your feet.

They're very comfortable with being flat and thin soled with a wide toe box and they look smart for school.

Finally got them in my size, buy 1/2 size larger than you normally wear in other shoes

but I made a mistake next day I had a 12 hours shift as an electrician on a nuclear plant so we do a lot of walking they destroy my feet my heel was all brush up and my ankles were also hurt really bad there is not enough pating on the back of the shoe where the stiches are also on the top where the metal Hoks for the shoelaces go so for that I was disappointed.

The heel began to wear out and the material at the toe area also wore out to the point you could see the inside material.

I bought the 10.5 wide and they ended up fitting a little tight.

The good thing about these shoes is that they are really light and great if your walking all day on concrete. 👍

The really are as comfortable as sneakers with the durability of a work boot.

Very satisfied with the boots and will buy a new pair for next season.

Another thing I like about these is the lighter weight compared to most other work boots.

I bought these boots because they looked like stylish sneakers

but gave me the protection of regular boots.

The boots would protect my toes and give me enough support to keep my back from hurting.
