make no mistake, these are SNEAKERS- NOT COMBAT BOOTS
fairly certain that standard issue combat boot LACES weigh more than these entire shoes weigh.

..like, seriously not joking about them weighing less than my dad's US Army issue boot LACES.

.but it will take some getting used to lacing the up as they have a very funky tongue that attaches on both sides all the way to the top.

But I didn't consider breathability - as these are waterproof boots, there's isn't much airflow once cinched and tied and ready for walking.

however so far I have found they are very slippery, especially when wet and walking on smoother surfaces, such as decks and driveways.

I hope once they get broken in they will be less slippery, as I have slipped abd nearly fallen several times.

The first impression upon jamming my hooves into these LUDEY Tac-boots was comfort.

My feet felt warm, and were rather sweat-dampened by removal.

The lacing is nice and gived an almost custom fit by allowing the laces to be loosened and tightened, where needed, to adjust to foot size and shape.

The boots have a very solid heel and are true to fit.

Seriously, the fit is perfect and they actually feel good.

Both the Gritr supplied boots were identical whereas the Plus More Inc boots were far inferior.

The heel actually had the Ferrini logo stamped in it and the Plus More Inc boots did not (that seems like something a knockoff manufacturer would do).

The insert inside the boots had a centered Ferrini logo stamped on where your heel would go and the tan (Plus More Inc) one was off centered while the Gritr boot was centered (which also seems like something a knockoff manufacturer would not care about).

The finger loops on the Plus More Inc supplied boots were way inferior (see photo).

Anyway, my opinion is that the Plus More Inc supplied boot must have been a knockoff.

The interior had compressed exposing ridges in the foot bed.

I noticed there was an adjustable strap so tried to tighten them- the material is very stiff almost like cardboard and it just folded the front in a strange crease.

Inside of the shoe isn’t comfortable and the buckles feel almost tin like.

I was excited to find these cause they looked just like a suede soda pair I had that started to peel inside after a few years.

They look super cheap and the calves are unusually wide- maybe this would be a plus if you have very thick calves.

but you aren't paying much and they are light weight for the type of boot they are, so there is sometimes benefit to the cheaper build.

I absolutely love these boots, so much I wore out the first set and repurchased them this time in 2 colors.

Im thrilled to be able to wear boots that fit and not a big struggle to put on!

The fact that they fit on my large calves is a plus.
