I originally ordered a 5 regular and had to return for a 5 wide.

Ordered a 6 Big Kids and they are definitely a toddler shoe.

Do not order if you actually need big kid sizing!

The reason I'm giving four instead of five stars is because I think compared to their other styles these run a little on the small side so if you aren't sure about size of go with the bigger of whichever two you are in between. :)

but the top of his foot is very "puffy", if you will, and most shoes to accommodate fat feet like that don't come in sizes 7 and up.

We put 7W against his other sneakers and it's quarter to half a size smaller and seems very narrow for W. We were unable to put the shoes on him.

Great lightweight breathable toddler shoe
With the weather warming up and play time spent outside as much as possible I'm really glad we got to try the new Stride Rite SRT in Lime Dimitri for free thanks to Stride Rite via BzzAgent!

They are so lightweight and breathable for hot sweaty toddler feet and my daughter absolutely loves the color (what toddler doesn't love shoes the same neon hue as a brand new tennis ball lol).

It's a great shoes - lovely color ( we got blue), super light and simple.

Favorite Stride Rite Shoes By Far
I have a very hard time finding my 1.5 year old son shoes for his wide feet.

I have only found Stride Rite shoes to be the ones he can wear comfortably that allow for him to run run run just like he loves to do.

These shoes are by far my favorite Stride Rite Purchase.

Seems like my son can walk very well in them, even as a beginner walker.

My son loves to strap them on and unstrap them himself.

The soles are perfect for supporting how my son walks and runs.

Finally a pair of shoes that fit my son's fat feet!

I think these shoes are probably great for ages 2+ when kiddo's feet narrow out a little bit,

We love how easy they are to put on and take off because of the Velcro straps; they look like adult shoes which is so cute and my toddler loves that she can do the straps just like a big kid.

I highly recommend these shoes for anyone who's toddlers have not grown out of the fat baby feet stage yet!

Kids that are hard on their shoes (or like to scrape on the sidewalk while they walk) would wear these shoes out really quickly.

Don't care for the logos all over children's clothes/ shoes so thank you for keeping it minimal.

These are perfect, as the elastic bands are actually super stretchy and the tongue of the shoe can be pulled all the way up to fit his fat foot in the shoe.

We have purchased Stride Rite shoes and sandals for both our children from their first pair through now, their last pair as they have outgrown the sizes they carry.

I wish the soles were of better quality, they wore down fast and dont seem to match the quality of the upper part of the shoe.

Nike and New balance shoes both seem to have soles that last way longer than this brand.

Kid loves the lights and loves his new shoes.

The whole that lights up is spectacular and more impressive then just a little bit of lights I have seen in the heels of other light up shoes.

He loves them, the lights last a long time and they take a beating.

He loves the lights on the shoes and always stomps around saying "Light".

He is a super duper Captain America America fan and I love that Stride Rite adopted the Avenger characters for their shoes.

Not only are Stride Rite shoes really great quality for my 3 year old, the choices of all the superheros and Star Wars, etc, make my son very excited to wear them.

Wonderful purchase and will probably only buy Stride Rite sneakers from here on out.

My only complaint would be that the velcro strap is WAY too long.

I have to leave it a little loose in order to have any velcro left on the strap to stick, and the end almost hangs on the ground.

However, after a month of being worn 4-5 days a week, the velcro straps are fraying a bit.

And I had to realign one of the insoles that got scrunched up -- they have sticky adhesive on the back so I don't think they're meant to come out.

Update: The non-removable insoles continue to slide around and scrunch up in the shoes -- because the adhesive on the backs of them collects sand.

but not stellar -- the rubber on the toe also peels and tears after a few months.

I purchased these because of the lights and because Stride Rite seems to be the only brand that fits.

I think they run a little small and one shoe the light only works when i bang it on a table, not when she walks.

The only downside to SRs are that the colors and designs are sometimes more bold, so I really have to hunt for neutral designs (just my preference) like the tan option in this shoe and the white in the Kennedy sneakers in the smaller sizes.

Sensory challenged child likes these  shoes. Light.

I purchased these shoes on clearance through the Stride Rite site itself for $15, and it was well worth the price.

My kiddo wore these shoes as his primary shoes for 6 months and they have held up very well for a kid who plays HARD.

The Velcro strap has stayed together instead of frayed apart like other pairs, so that's another plus.

I would even pay $40 for them bc they were comfortable and held up well.
