The heel counter is extremely rough and the heel itself was not very snug, so you'll need to wear thick socks and probably preventive bandaids, at least during break in.

The insole in the boot which is not removable is missing a big peice of it making it unwearable and since I didn't try them on for 5 weeks can't return now

Not sure if someone was joking about the size of this pair…normally all my boots are a 11d…this one was recommended too order a half size down….ordered 10.5 and had 2 inches of space from the front of my largest toe….wth! Returned

Only boot my hubby wears doing road construction and asphalt bottom tread is ideal for asphalt great construction boot!

I weld alot as a ironworker the OBENAUE'S not only condition the leather it helps protect the stitching from Sparks.

Soft tumbled leather feels flexible enough

but definitely has a decent amount of oil in the leather as I was able to buff out the marks with minimal effort.

Due to the shortage of boots available in my size 10W (apparently everyone wears 10W) I had to try a different brand of boots.

The leather in its the upper is as soft as glove leather, combined with padded leather tongue.

The leathers not cut no holes worn in the steel toe and are still water proof!

The bottom of the boot is flat,which,according to my husband, is a game changer!

Longest lasting boots I've ever worn
I'll flat-out admit I am not gentle or forgiving to the boots I wear.

All I can say is they are the most comfortable out of the box and toughest boots I have ever purchased.

These boots more than live up to my standards.

These have little to no break in, they have never gotten a funky boot smell , and most of all the only reason I bought a new pair was because I wore through the soles of the last pair.

If you need a boot that can work as hard as you can, then for me this is them.

As far as I am willing to say, so long as Georgia boots keep making this boot then this is the only one I intend to buy.

These boot manufacturers that claim water proof boot that make the boot with a canvas tong need to stop claiming the boot to be waterproof.

Also the canvas tong of these boots get wet, oily and begins to hold odor.

These boots are awesome on rough terrain
Georgia Boot Company boots are designed for the roughest of terrain.

These boots get me where I need to go and let me work in all conditions.

This way if you step through a puddle of water deeper than 4"  water wont seep in through the Tongue of the boot.

It might be a good boot for someone who wears boots for the sake of wearing boots.

Due to the thickness and stiffness of the boot tongues and they cause your leg to hurt.

By the end of the day, your legs are killing you.

I can’t even use some of the lace buckles, because they cause too much tongue pressure and it kills your leg.

They do not look anywhere remotely even half as good as an Iron Ranger type heritage boot.

Although I think these are a great value and perfectly serviceable as they come It's become my habit to upgrade these with a veg tan leather insoles and proper leather laces from Nicks Boots and gently oil them once when new.

I bought a 10 in these, and for most people who don't understand that a leather boot should be tighter than you want, to allow for that custom fit achieved after a break-in period, they'd think these fit perfectly.

Georgia boot always punch way above their price point so finding them for 40% off was a no-brainer.

Over all, they're great boots for, especially for the price.
