PROS: the leather is legit and overall the construction quality is quite high, and for me this type of design (3-eye leather with a decent tread) is so versatile I can wear shoes like this nearly anywhere.

but I find the Timberland inners higher quality still and the leather just more comfortable right away, even outside of the width issue.

The problem with this shoe is that it wears out quickly.

I've probably worn them about 20 times or so and the bottoms of both shoes are already beginning to tear.

Whatever material is in the sole is nice!

I thing I've noticed the most is that they don't smell like stinky feet after you've worn them, just a slight rubber smell.

The only thing that seems odd is that the footbed is so fluffy/cushion-like, my heel sits high in the heel cuff and it feels like the backs of my shoes are going to pop off my heels, feeling oddly too low.

My only wish is that the footbed was 100% leather.

If the issue with my heel sitting too high in the heelcuff of the shoe does not remedy itself, I may take these to a cobbler and ask them to remove the original footbed and just put leather in it.

Some unscrupulous person obviously wore them many, many times and then returned them without even cleaning them.

That aside, the sizing is very large, more like a 10 than a 9.

What I love about these shoes is the upper and lower leather work;

With an all leather insole in a shoe, you can wear them without socks in the summer and never ever get stinky feet or shoes.

But for less than $40, these shoes are steal, because you can barely get plastic shoes for this price.

I usually wear a 9.5 and I got the 9.5, they fit perfectly.

As expected!!! I used them to wear them to a wedding, I have plantar fasciitis, at times I get it real bad, no problems with this shoes, I wore them expecting to have pain the next day,

After wearing them around the house for about 20 minutes I was surprised there was zero pain. YAY!
